Any board, any boot. New to the snowboarding industry is the Fase binding system. This is a speed entry system designed without the need of a special boot to go along with the bindings. Unlike many rear-entry bindings of the past, the Fase system provides a locked-in performance-oriented feel. Equipped with two traditional straps, ankle and toe, these bindings end up feeling like a regular two-strap binding. Set the toe in the correct spot for your boot and slide the ankle strap with a couple cranks and you’re locked and loaded. Simply lift the ankle ratched and your heel to step out of the binding. The highback automatially folds down. And don’t worry, you can still flick the highback forward so it doesn’t get crushed getting on the chair. This is a new system for the industry, and unlike other speed entry systems, we are stoked to see what this new technology can do.
