Mt. Ashland hosts a series of Midwinter jams! Each event will have live music, rail jams under the lights, and tons of free stuff giveaways. Sponsored by Moose Munch and Sierra Nevada brewing, we’ll have something for winter people of all ages.

On March 8th enjoy "Eric Leadbetter" on stage.

Rail Jam will be all set up in full view of the outdoor deck, which will feature Sierra Nevada tall boys and a ski/board waxing station. Keep an eye out for special Scavenger Hunt items and enter to win the grand prize of a snowboard or a pair of skis, compliments of Sierra Nevada.

Get to Mt. Ashland, grab a $25 Twilight Skiing ticket, and get ready for a night of fun for the whole family!

The OAS Ski For All is back for the 2nd year on Saturday, March 16th! The Ski For All is a full day 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. all-abilities ski-a-thon.

The athletic competition is to ski or ride as many vertical feet in one day as possible utilizing any and all terrain that is open. The feel-good competition is to raise funds to support OAS and to ensure life-changing outdoor recreation is available to people of ALL abilities.

Moonlight Dine and Ski

Wednesday, March 20 is the first day of spring. It also coincides with a full moon - with the moon rise occurring at the same time the sun sets. Enjoy this unique astronomical event by joining Mt. Bachelor for a special Moonlight Dine & Ski, where you'll be treated to a gourmet dinner followed by an escorted ski down from Pine Marten Lodge on a freshly groomed run beneath the moonlight.

This offer is exclusive to season pass holders ages 21 and older, and the cost will be $75 per person. Everything is included in the price: the three-course meal, three complimentary beverages and gratuity.

Altair started as a ski club (Altair Ski & Sports Club) but has expanded to include year-round outdoor and indoor activities, including skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, bowling, volleyball, golf, and rafting.

Take part in this event if you're up for snowshoeing , cross country skiing, hiking, or just relaxing within the Crater Lake region. Enjoying waterfalls, gourmet meals, a little singing, dancing, games, and making new friend. Great locations for photography.

FRIDAY:
Altair Logo Check in and relax at Prospect Historic Hotel , walk the trails to the 3 beautiful waterfalls nearby, snow shoe, cross-country ski, music, dancing, karaoke, games.

SATURDAY:
Enjoy a hardy buffet breakfast at the hotel & pick up your sack lunch prior to carpooling to Crater Lake for fun in the snow on cross-country skies or snowshoes. We also plan on a group Forest Ranger led snow shoe nature hike (with snowshoes provided free of charge). Later back at Prospect Hotel—enjoy a social hour in the sitting room or veranda; and a true gourmet dinner (Prime Rib, Lemon Dill Salmon, Vegetarian Lasagna). Followed by music/dancing, friends, games…..

SUNDAY:
Enjoy a hardy buffet breakfast at the hotel & pick up your sack lunch prior to check out. Enjoy more winter sports activities OR join in organized hikes along the trails of the Rogue or Umpqua River. Image from nps.gov

Grab the swimsuit and sunscreen and head to Hoodoo for Spring Fling on Saturday, April 13th. It’s the best slope slide party of the year!

Dress up in your funniest costume and enter the Pond Skimming Battle Royale. Pond skimming brings out the brave (and slightly crazy!) skiers and riders who have dreams of crossing 100 feet of icy water successfully. Enjoy a beer from Three Creeks Brewing Co. and music in the slope side beer garden just feet away from all the action.
