The Nidecker Supermatic® falls into the category that is known as a rear-entry binding. Rear-entry bindings have lost favor over the years and for good reason. They needed a redesign... badly. Enter the Swiss engineering dynamos Nidecker. The Supermatic® has the smoothest action and works like a dream. The biggest issue that rear-entry bindings had was fitment.  Either it was easy to get into the binding, but wasn’t tight enough when you were riding or it was tight enough to ride in and it was difficult to get your foot in and out. The Active Strap from Nidecker seems to fix this. On top of that it is super comfy and fits any boot. We love Nidecker here at Berg’s, if you couldn’t tell, and are always happy to see them taking on design and engineering issues that plague snowboarding. They haven’t failed us yet.

Flex Rating

A stiffer flex is ideal for the more aggressive rider or a more intermediate rider who is on the bigger/taller side. It requires more input by a more capable or larger rider.

The Hexo Toecap strap features AuxTech®; a 3D hinged auxetic pattern that expands evenly over your boot for next level comfort.

Active Strap

Active Strap Technology automatically lifts the straps when you recline the highback, creating space for rapid entry and exit. Once closed, the straps instantly return to your pre-selected tension.

Locking Slap Ratchets (LSR) 2.0 Auto-Lock Buckle

Nidecker's next-gen LSR 2.0 automatically locks in both directions as soon as you stop cranking. Quickly set your preferred strap tension for speed entry or make rapid adjustments on the fly.

DropIN™

Drop IN™ Tech works using a triggered hiback. Just push your foot in through the back and step down on the heel pedal to automatically engage the binding. That’s it – you’re ready to shred. A simple release lever makes exiting just as rapid.
