Product Info
If you have been a diehard fan of the DC Mutiny then this is the boot you are looking for. The Premier Hybrid is next in the line of evolution in DC’s traditional lace boots. With all your favorite Mutiny features like Wrap Lock Hardware and an upgrade to the Response Liner III, the Premier Hybrid gets an added side Boa®. The benefit here is that you lose nothing with the traditional lace benefits, but you gain an internal harness lacing that you can adjust on the fly with the side Boa® wheel. So you can crank down the extra support or dial in the fit throughout the day as needed without taking off your boot. And if you are one of those traditional lace diehards who fear that a broken Boa® will ruin your day, then you don’t have to worry with the Premier Hybrid because you will still have a full lace boot no matter what happens with your Boa®.
Type of terrain: All mountain, Freestyle
Ability Level: Intermediate, Advanced
We recommend this for:
The Premier Hybrid is an ideal all mountain or freestyle boot for intermediate or better riders.

Flex Rating
The DC Premier Hybrid has a 5/10 flex. The traditional lace allows you to adjust the fit and flex based on how tight you lace it, so if you want it to be a little more flexy for presses and tweaks you can dial this in with the Premier Hybrid.
Response Liner III
Built with 3M Thinsulate in the forefoot making this the warmest liner that DC has to offer. Add multi-density foam providing support where needed and flexibility for articulation making it the most technical and responsive liner as well.
Wrap Lock Hardware
Not only allows for better lacing leverage to get the support you need, it also locks in your progress as you lace up your boot.
Molded IMPACT-ALG™ insoles
Molded IMPACT-ALG™ insoles features a molded arch support and heel cup for added stability and responsiveness, even in the most demanding conditions.
FITTING YOUR BOOTS– Do not buy your boots based on your shoe size.– To properly assess the fit of any boot you must lace or buckle it completely. The boot will feel small until you do this because your toes will be pushed to the front until laced or buckled. Also, keep in mind all boot liners stretch out and get bigger. – First, lace or buckle the boot loosely. Next, flex into the boot to drive your heel into the heel pocket. Doing this makes room for your toes. Lastly, finish lacing or buckling the boot in a flexed position.– Be sure to wear the boots for at least 10 minutes fully laced or buckled before making a determination. Remember these boots are not made for walking, keep your knees slightly bent and flexed forward into riding position. When doing this your heels should be pushed into the back of the boot and your toes should be comfortable. – You should wear the thinnest sock you are comfortable with. Blood flow is the number one thing that keeps your feet warm. Adding more material around your feet with thicker socks increases the chances of reducing blood flow.– To help your foot sit properly in your boot, you may consider an aftermarket footbed like Superfeet® or Sidas®. A footbed with arch support, not just cushion, helps align your foot in the shell and alleviates pressure points. Footbeds should be sized to your arch height and length, not your shoe size. – Spend some time choosing your boots, they are the most important piece of your gear!
