The [ak] Surgence tour pack was designed for the snowboarder with ascents on their mind. Built with freedom of movement as a top priority, this pack is streamlined and functional. The vest style shoulder straps give you access to all your quick grab needs unlike any other pack. These straps are also padded, vented, and adjustable to give you the maximum amount of comfort while you are slogging it up the hill. We also find this to a great lift pack as it is not bulky in general and again the shoulder straps keep all the important stuff within reach so you don't have to take the pack off every time you need a snack, sun block, or whatever your favorite quick grab items are. Technical Features

Nylon Cordura® Ripstop

This pack is built with multiple materials to get the build, durability, and weight just right. The main two materials are 100D x 160D Nylon Cordura Dobby Ripstop and 210D Nylon Cordura® Ripstop both with C0 DWR and PU Coating. The higher the denier the greater the durability and abrasion resistance, but also the heavier and less flexible it is. That is why Burton built this pack with these two different materials, so you get the benefits where you need them, but reduce the drawbacks where you don’t want them. 

DWR and PU Coating

DWR (Durable Water Repellent) and PU (Polyurethane) coating repels water in snow and wintry-mix conditions and add to the overall durability and protection.
