Helly Hansen Ridge Infinity Shell Bib - Men'sby Helly Hansen

Product Info

The Helly Hansen Ridge Infinity Shell Bib is built for deep days, steep lines, and skiers who want their gear to keep up when the terrain gets serious. Developed with professional skiers, the 3-layer HELLY TECH® PROFESSIONAL + LIFA INFINITY™ construction delivers high-level waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection without adding insulation. Articulated knees, a gusseted crotch, and ventilation zips keep you moving comfortably, while smart details like dedicated beacon storage, RECCO®, and the LIFE POCKET™ make this bib ready for big mountain days.

We recommend this for:

Experienced freeriders, backcountry skiers, and advanced resort skiers who regularly seek out deep snow and steep terrain. It’s especially suited to skiers who prefer an uninsulated shell so they can customize warmth with layers and need serious weather protection, mobility, ventilation, and backcountry-ready features.

Technical Features

Warmth Rating

The Ridge Infinity Shell Bib is an uninsulated shell, so it provides essentially no built-in insulation. That’s intentional—it lets you customize your warmth with base and midlayers depending on the conditions and activity level.

Waterproof Rating

Provides high-level protection from snow and moisture, keeping you dry through heavy snowfall, storm days, and long hours on the mountain. While Helly Hansen doesn't publish a specific water column rating, it's generally estimated to perform in the ~20K range. It’s a strong choice for skiers who regularly face wet, demanding conditions.

LIFA INFINITY™

LIFA INFINITY™ is Helly Hansen’s most advanced waterproof and breathable technology, engineered to deliver professional-grade protection without the use of solvents. Its innovative membrane features microscopic pores that are large enough to let heat and moisture vapor escape, yet small enough to block rain, snow, and wind. Combined with a durable water-repellent face fabric, LIFA INFINITY™ keeps you dry, comfortable, and moving freely through demanding mountain conditions.

HELLY TECH® PROFESSIONAL

Helly Hansen’s highest-level waterproof, windproof, and breathable construction, designed for serious use in demanding mountain conditions. It keeps harsh weather out while allowing moisture vapor to escape during high-output activities like ski touring.

RECCO®

RECCO® is a rescue technology designed to help professional rescue teams locate people in the backcountry or mountains. A lightweight, passive reflector integrated into gear responds to signals from a RECCO® detector used by trained rescuers, helping narrow down a person's location during avalanche searches or emergency situations.

Best for: Skiers, snowboarders, and outdoor adventurers who want an added layer of safety when exploring the mountains. RECCO® does not replace avalanche gear, training, or safe decision-making, but it can improve the chances of being located by rescue professionals in an emergency.
