The DC Judge is one of the more popular boots among the team riders. A perfect balance of performance, comfort, and durability make it a favorite year after year. The Response Liner III has one of the best heel and ankle pockets you can find for grip and support. It’s also not so stiff that you can’t press and tweak in the park, but is still responsive enough to take through some tight tree lines. The stainless steel Boa® cable gives you a little something extra to lean into for edge-to-edge response and control. Add in the internal ankle harness that not only improves foothold but also helps with the responsiveness without having to make the boot overly stiff, which again keeps the Judge a more comfortable performance boot.

Flex Rating

The DC Judge is rated just past the medium flex level. This is great for folks looking for a supportive, but not aggressive, flexing boot. Bare in mind, flex ratings differ based on the rider’s weight and leverage that they can put on the boot.

Response Liner III

Built with 3M Thinsulate in the forefoot making this the warmest liner that DC has to offer. Add multi-density foam providing support where needed and flexibility for articulation making it the most technical and responsive liner as well.

Warranty Information:

DC Shoes warrants all snow specific Outerwear (soft goods), Snowboards and Snowboard Boots to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase, when purchased from an authorized dealer. The Snow warranty covers defects of workmanship and materials, but does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and material through time, exposure or extensive use. If a DC Shoes product is found to be defective after inspection by a warranty technician, DC Shoes will repair or replace the product with an existing comparable model at the technician’s discretion. DC Shoes is not liable for any damages, losses and/or costs incurred resulting from the loss or usage of our products.

FITTING YOUR BOOTS – To properly assess the fit of any boot you must lace or buckle it completely. The boot will feel small until you do this because your toes will be pushed to the front until laced or buckled. Also, keep in mind all boot liners stretch out and get bigger. – First, lace or buckle the boot loosely. Next, flex into the boot to drive your heel into the heel pocket. Doing this makes room for your toes. Lastly, finish lacing or buckling the boot in a flexed position. – Be sure to wear the boots for at least 10 minutes fully laced or buckled before making a determination. Remember these boots are not made for walking, keep your knees slightly bent and flexed forward into riding position. When doing this your heels should be pushed into the back of the boot and your toes should be comfortable. – You should wear the thinnest sock you are comfortable with. Blood flow is the number one thing that keeps your feet warm. Adding more material around your feet with thicker socks increases the chances of reducing blood flow. – To help your foot sit properly in your boot, you may consider an aftermarket footbed like Superfeet® or Sidas®. A footbed with arch support, not just cushion, helps align your foot in the shell and alleviates pressure points. Footbeds should be sized to your arch height and length, not your shoe size. – Spend some time choosing your boots, they are the most important piece of your gear!
