This is a great jacket for someone who gets cold easily, but can also get sweaty. The Dry.Q® fabric in the Firefall Insulated Jacket begin breathing as soon as you put it on. Unlike other membranes that require more body heat to start working. Along with 80g insulation in the body and 60g in the hood and sleeves, this jacket could be a great companion.

Warmth Rating

With 80g of insulation, this ski jacket is great for those colder days on the hill. Bump up the warmth even more with a midlayer.

Waterproof Rating

Dry.Q® fabric, like GORE-TEX®, is rated above the 25k waterproof scale around 30k-40k waterproof and breathability. The main difference between the two fabrics, is Dry.Q® begins being breathable as soon as you put it on. This differes from most other membranes that require a certain amount of body heat to be transmitted before becoming breathable.

The Limited Lifetime Warranty states items original to their materials and workmanship are covered by the policy. Products that have been altered, modified, abused, misused, neglected or beyond normal wear and tear are not covered. Products that meet the warranty guidelines should be sent back to Mountain Hardwear for evaluation for possible repair or replacement. The warranty policy does state items damaged due to improper care or accident can be repaired for a reasonable rate. The Limited Lifetime Warranty lasts for the practical lifetime of the product. It will not transfer past original user and proof of purchase may be required if you submit a claim. This policy is applicable to United States customers only.
