As its name suggests, the Kuro Neko, or Black Cat in Japanese, is nimble, quick, and always lands on its feet. This all-new snowboard from Arbor draws from the basics of freestyle snowboarding with a focused, low-tech approach to progression. Easy riding, but capable. No frills here, just a simple and trusted design.

Technical Features

Twin

From contact point to contact point the nose and tail are mirrored from the center of the board in both shape and flex. Twins of any kind allow you to ride in either direction a little easier. Ideal for freestyle minded riding and perfect for anyone, beginners included, to dial in riding switch for all mountain dominance. 

System Camber (Parabolic Camber)

Arbor use a unique shaping technique that replaces the single radius arc found in traditional camber, with a more advanced parabolic profile. The design blends five separate radii to create a parabolic arc, which gradually reduces the amount of camber toward the tip and tail. In the System Camber shapes, the design makes the leading edge less aggressive for smoother performance. The System Camber shapes are for riders who want a highly responsive ride, crisp on-edge performance, and more pop for carving and ollies. Effortless true-camber performance across all types of snow, and during turns, spins, and landings.

Skill Level

Anyone can ride this board, but it is aimed at folks in the intermediate range looking to further progress their skills.

Flex Rating

Right down the middle, the 5.5/10 flex is easy to ride without feeling too soft.

Highland II Core

A 10/20 blend of Poplar and Paulownia for a lighter, more responsive version of the Highland Core.

Mixed Glassing

A triax over biax lay-up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.

360° Fully Wrapped Sidewalls

Fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
