Pat Moore has been pushing what snowboarding is and what it can be from the beginning. He strongly believes the old guard should support and build up the new guard, that the past is our foundation that the future is built on. It might sound strange, but that is exactly what this board represents. Arbor is know for specific designs that are consistent across all models like parabolic shaping and Grip Tech. But Arbor sees the future as Pat does and they know that they must evolve to build the future of snowboarding. That is why they brought Pat on board, to design and build the future with Arbor as the foundation. This is the first board in the Pat’s new line with Arbor called Candle. A directional twin with a setback and mild taper, everything you need no matter what the conditions.

Technical Features

Directional Twin

Directional twins offer the best of both worlds allowing for the most versatility, a directional shape and setback with a twin flex so you can still ride switch easily in any situation.

Camber 

Full camber profiles are ideal for powerful turns and poppy precision. They offer a snappy suspension with weight distributed evenly across the entire board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail. The support and snap you get from a cambered board is unrivaled by any other camber design.

Skill Level

For an intermediate or better rider looking for stability and power in an all mountain package, ideal for more aggressive riding and steeper lines. The System Camber is ideal for the rider who wants better edge-hold as they pick up speed and explore the mountain.

Flex Rating

Power and precision, the Rain being an 7.5/10 flex will make you work for it, but when you get it, you will be rewarded greatly. Rip the carves, send the side hits, point it down the fall-line and keep that smile on.

Real Wood Powerply

The wood Powerply is a natural topsheet and is what makes an Arbor snowboard ride like an Arbor snowboard. Bringing the board to life with the natural spring and liveliness of the specific woods used. For the first time the Powerply is not on top, but underneath instead, combining the benefits of the wood layer and traditional topsheet.

Mixed Glass

A combination of a triax weave and a biax weave lay–up, providing flex where you want it with snap and stability where you need it.

Double Carbon Stringers

Two carbon fiber uprights running from the tip and tail to just past the inserts. A setup that provides added landing durability and pop for bigger park and backcountry performance.

360° Fully Wrapped Sidewalls

Fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.

Wend Natural Wax

All Arbor snowboards hit the shop floor ready to ride with Wend Natural Wax infused in the base.

Factory Tuned
