Product Info

The 2026 Völkl Mantra line continues its legacy as a benchmark for powerful, precision-driven all-mountain skis, redefining what it means to blend race-inspired engineering with freeride versatility. Long revered by aggressive skiers for its edge grip, stability, and high-speed composure, the Mantra series now spans a full spectrum of models tailored for men, women, and juniors—each infused with Völkl’s signature construction ethos.

At the heart of the Mantra identity is the Tailored Titanal Frame, a strategic layering of metal that delivers uncompromising power where it’s needed most, while allowing for nuanced flex and control. Paired with Tailored Carbon Tips and the new 4 Radius Drive sidecut, the 2026 lineup offers enhanced maneuverability, smoother turn initiation, and intuitive handling across varied terrain—from icy groomers to wind-buffed bowls.

This year’s update also brings a more unified naming convention: the women’s-specific Secret skis now fall under the Mantra umbrella, with the M7 Mantra W leading the charge.

Technical Features

  • 4D Radius Sidecut
  • P-Tex 2100 base
  • Tailored Carbon Tips
  • Multilayer wood core
  • Tailored Titanal Frame

Multilayer Woodcore

A combination of lighter, softer poplar wood and heavier, stronger beech .A particularly light and complex wood core specially developed for touring skis. In the area around the steel edges, a poplar wood hand-picked by weight provides the necessary stability, while in the center of the ski, the soft and light Paulownia wood ensures the ski's flexibility. In the binding area beech wood provides the strength, which is needed to hold the screws of the binding. In the center of the core, a CNC-milled Isocore area contributes to optimal liveliness and dynamic development. Only the lightest batch of each wood delivery makes it into these cores.

P-Tex 2100 Base

A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.

Full Sidewall

Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.

Tailored Titanal Frame

ATailored Titanal Frame is Völkl’s new key technology that customizes metal reinforcement to each ski length. Longer skis get wider Titanal frames for added stiffness, power transmission, and dampening—ideal for stronger, more aggressive skiers. Shorter lengths feature narrower frames for increased agility, making them easier to control for lighter or less powerful skiers. A second, thinner Titanal layer underfoot adds strength and responsiveness without sacrificing maneuverability. The result: a finely tuned balance of precision, power, and playfulness across the entire Mantra line.

Tip & Tail Rocker

Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle

Suspension Tip & Tail

Inserts made of elastic TPU material on the edges of the tip and tail which act like a bumper in wind-blown or tracked snow. Its shock-absorbing elasticity ensures better stability and catch-free float.

4 Radius Drive

A Völkl innovation not yet offered by any other manufacturer. With this technology, Völkl sets a new benchmark for the ability to vary the turn radius and combine easy handling with rock-solid stability. This new design provides maximum versatility for various snow conditions both on piste and off piste, increased stability on hard surfaces, and improved performance on soft snow.

Radius 1: Approx. 20 m in the frontmost 10 centimeters. A tighter radius only in the shovel to achieve a more immediate response to the skier‘s initial edge movement; maximum precision and agility

Radius 2: Approx. 40 m in the area between the shovel and the binding. The open radius in the front part of the ski gives the ski more resistance to disturbances and stability at speed

Radius 3: Approx. 15 m in the area under the binding. The tight radius in the camber area provides the ski with more agility even with slight edge movements of the skier, ensuring the necessary buildup of dynamics for short turns and radical carving curves.

Radius 4: Approx. 25 meters in the area behind the binding up to the ski end. The moderate radius at the ski end ensures controlled and situation-adapted dynamics at the end of the turn and provides optimal support for transitioning into the next curve.
