Nikwax® Down Wash™ keeps one of nature's wonder materials clean. Down is light, resilient, and an excellent insulator. It can be hard to correctly clean down because it is vulnerable to damage from harsh detergents. Nikwax® Down Wash™ is a mild detergent-free cleaner specifically designed to clean down without stripping it of it's natural loft and insulation qualities. Use on down-filled sleeping bags, duvets, comforters and your favorite down clothing.

Technical Features

A cleaner for hydrophobic and regular down gear that cleans effectively
Revitalizes insulation
Restores water-repellency
Great for cleaning and restoring water-repellency down apparel and sleeping bags

Instructions:

Use undiluted cleaner to treat dried down stains before washing. Remember to remover all unwashable parts of garment. Make sure to always follow the correct item care label directions.

Machine wash (down clothing only):

1. Hand washing is also an applicible option

2. Remove all detergent built up prior to washing.

3. Wash with a max. of 2 items

4. Use 3.3 fl.oz (100ml)

5. Wash items acoring to care label instructions

6. Make sure garment is free of any excess water.

If care label allows, timble dry according to manufacturers instruction. If “clumps” appear, no need for worry, this is normal. It may take a few drying cycles to tease apart.
