The Jones Mountain Twin has been the benchmark for the all-mountain twin since its inception, being one of the first boards to sell out every year here at Berg’s. What made the Mountain Twin standout compared to its rivals that had been around for longer was the design and tech that went into it. Blending camber and rocker the way it should be done from the start, adding mild but useful Traction Tech, with a 3D contoured base all make this board friendly and capable in any condition allowing you to take your favorite tricks out of the park to anywhere on the mountain. A smooth and consistent flex, a fast sintered base, and a top-notch factory tune, round out the Jones Mountain Twin for your all-mountain freestyle utility ride.

Technical Features

Directional Twin

Take a twin board and a directional flexing board then put them together. The same shape whether you’re riding regular/goofy or switch, but with a flex that progressively stiffens from the nose to the tail. One of the great all-mountain shapes.

Cam-Rock

An evolution of a traditional camber shape, this cam-rock profile features subtle flat zones just outside your feet to amplify pop and add playfulness to the snap and response of camber. Early rise tip and tail sections spin and float with a catch-free feel.

The Mountain Twin has a mellow flex pattern, but paired with its camber profile make it snappy and confident at higher speeds.

3D Base Contour 2.0

Moderate 3D Contour Base featuring an even balance of 4mm spoon bevel in the nose and 4mm spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point.

Control Core

Dual-density full premium wood core featuring a 2:1 paulownia to poplar stringer ratio that keeps core light but ultra damp.

Biax Fiberglass

A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate that provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride.

Sustainable Power Basalt Stringers

Sustainable strength. Basalt stringers are made with 100% natural fibers and help transfer power to the edges, improve torsional response and absorb board chatter.

Sintered 8000 Base

New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. Base is easily repairable, highly wax absorbent and wicked fast.

Flip-Flop Base

Producing two or more base color options minimizes p-tex waste. Order may be filled with either color. Color does not vary by size.

Freeride/Freestyle Insert Pack

Allows option to center or set back stance on sidecut as conditions demand.

WEND Natural Wax

An extra set of binding inserts are located further near the tail of the board for those extra deep days.

Oversized Recycled Edges

All Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability.

Recycled ABS Sidewalls

ABS Plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improved the sustainability of their snowboards by using only recycled plastic.

Forever Flex

Forever Flex is a new manufacturing process that helps stabilize the flex and rocker of a board for its lifetime.
