Hybrid shell construction keeps things light weight but with a hard outer shell you get the longevity and durability you need to ride everyday. Fully ventilated with dual zone control for fine tuning with removable ear pads so you'll be comfortable from blower powder days to hot spring laps. Safety is nothing to scoff at with the vantage Zonal Koroyd which acts like a crumple zone on a car absorbing impact and Mips (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) takes care of rotational forces for top of the line safety. Everything is securely held to your head with the BOA 360 fit system for the most secure micro adjustable fit you can get.

Technical Features

Koroyd®

Koroyd® provides superior impact absorption, design flexibility, and ventilation when compared to materials traditionally used in helmet construction. By utilizing crumple-zone cylinders that crush uniformly on impact, Koroyd® manages energy more efficiently with less volume than any other protection material on the market. Unlike traditional protection materials, Koroyd® cylinders absorb and convert more kinetic energy, while increasing airflow and reducing overall weight. Not all helmets are created equal.

MIPS® Equipped

MIPS® (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) Designed to add protection against rotational motion transferred to the brain. Rotational motion affects the brain and increase the risk for minor and severe brain injuries. When implemented in a helmet, the MIPS® BPS can reduce rotational motion by redirecting energies and forces otherwise transferred to the brain.

Vaporfit™

Crafted with ease-of-use and superior comfort in mind, the VaporFit™ system relies on a tried-and-true rotary dial adjustment system integrated with a tuned elastic fit using engineered shapes. Each VaporFit™ system has a full 5cm of rotary adjustability.

Additionally, the system can be moved up/down or forward/backward at the attachment points. The final result is increased comfort with a personalized, secure fit. 

AirEvac

Goggles fog when standard helmets trap warm, moist air in the goggle chamber. Smith’s AirEvac ventilation systems generate maximum airflow and pull warm, fog-causing air out of the goggle. The warm air is allowed to exhaust out of the top of the goggle and begin its path through the helmet’s AirEvac system.
