The CAPiTA Mercury has been one of the more popular boards on our wall here Berg's. Its tech driven directional twin provide a lot performance as well as versatility. Its directional flex make is ideal for carving as well has improved boost from the tail. The mild setback stance also help with your carving experience, but also make it easier to float when in softer snow and the twin shape make it more predictable while riding switch and rotating. The last big features to point out is the Resort V2 Directional profile. This is a fine tuned approach to what many refer to as camrock, which is camber spanning to the outside of the inserts and rocker from there out to the contact points. The camber provides power, pop, and edge-hold, while the rocker makes it easier to initiate turns, presses in the park, and most importantly requires you to strain your back leg in the powder. These four main aspects of the Mercury are the larger factors that makes this board so versatile and one of the most popular one board quivers out there. Now there is a lot we could mention about the CAPiTA Mercury, but we would encourage you to scroll down for the finer details. There are a lot of them to mention here.
NOTE: Topsheet graphic is slightly different per size as they are separately part of a bigger image. The wide boards are blue instead of red. Please contact Berg’s about your order before shipping for color clarification.

The intermediate or better rider looking for one board that’s good at everything. Can rip groomers, slash pow, and take park laps, but doesn’t specialize in anything either so it may not be the best, but is by no means the worst.

Resort V2 Directional Camber
This revolutionary all-terrain shape provides the best of both worlds. A combination of traditional camber, zero camber, and reverse camber. It has a raised camber platform through the inserts to retain high-speed edge hold through variable terrain, elevated contact points to land and float in powder, and Flat Kick tip and tail arcs for faster, more aggressive transitions.
Death Grip™ Sidecut
A progressive sidecuts that incorporate a reverse sidecut arc in the midsection of the board. Due to a reduced effective edge as a result of hybrid camber shapes, this reverse camber arc provides a point of contact to retain control throughout the turn and is affectionately referred to as Death Grip™.
Custom formulated and exclusive to The Mothership, with exceptional anti-friction properties due to high molecular mass and specialized processing aids, this sintered material has a proprietary composition and is beyond fast. Our loyal fans charge hard, and we have integrated the fastest, meanest base available.
An energetic core that that is built with Paulownia and Poplar to be ultralight and strong with excellent dampening properties.
Holysheet™ Tri/Bi Fiberglass + Magic Bean™ Resin
Tri/Bi Holysheet™ has higher glass to weight ratio than normal fiberglass. Impregnated with high performance plant based Magic Bean Resin™ for the most powerful and dynamic ride. This adhesion process improves the factory’s working environment, as it does not contain some of the same harsh chemical characteristics used in resins at other factories around the world. This configuration uses an optimum blend of 626g/m2 Biaxial fiberglass laminated in conjunction with structural additives to customize performance objectives.
Amplitex™ V-Tech Amplifier
Next-generation natural flax fiber woven with carbon strands. This fusion tape brings the best of two worlds: the reactive energy of carbon and the lightweight and dampening aspects of flax. The two fibers are highly compatible since they have similar properties regarding thermal expansion creating a uniformly flexing reinforcement that's light, snappy and durable all in one.
PLT Topsheet Technology™
This is magical because the rest of the world mashes their topsheets on with glue, heat and pressure during the pressing stage. Doing so causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the topsheet. And because nobody wants to spend their hard earned cash on a bumpy snowboard, many companies slather their tops with a thick toxic lacquer to smooth things out. Not only is that shit HEAVY and can potentially develop unsightly hairline cracks, it’s also really unhealthy for the working environment.
