The Nitro Slash is another Berg’s favorite with it being in multiple quivers in our shop. Though the Slash excels in the soft snow, it’s no slouch on the groomers. The wider platform allows you to lay the board over for a deeper carve. The Trüe Camber (read full camber) and progressive sidecut are what gives it the edge hold for digging trenches on the groomers. The progressive sidecut paired with 16mm of taper help the tail to drop and nose to rise on those precious powder days you’ve been waiting for. Combine all that with the 3D Surf Tech and this board will turn all your pow days into perfect days.

Technical Features

Directional Shape w/ 16mm Taper

Directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float in powder. A softer nose allows for a smoother roll into your carve, while a stiffer waist and tail provides better control through the turn and a stronger finish.

Trüe Camber

Full camber profiles are ideal for powerful turns and poppy precision. They offer a snappy suspension with weight distributed evenly across the entire board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail. The support and snap you get from a cambered board is unrivaled by any other camber design. 

Skill Level

Progressive Sidecut

A larger radius in the front, blended into a tighter one towards the tail. The progressive sidecut makes accelerating out of turns a breeze, while maintaining a catch-free nose area. 

Flex Rating

Nitro Gives this board a 7/10 flex. The Slash can hold its own on the groomers with this flex, but still feels nice and surfy through the powder.

3D Surf Tech

3D Surf tech is accomplished by creating a spoon shape in the nose to add lift and float, and a concaved shape in the tail acting like a boat hull to give you more power and stability under your back foot.
