K2 Maysis Snowboard Boots - Men's by K2
Product Info
The K2 Maysis has earned its reputation as the best-selling boot in snowboarding by constantly evolving, and the latest iteration is no exception. By pairing its legendary out-of-the-box fit with the H5 BOA® Coiler system, K2 has made it easier than ever to dial in your perfect ride. These impact-resistant dials are built to take a beating—even ejecting during severe crashes so you can simply click them back in—while the low-friction guides and TX3 laces ensure smooth, even tension every time you tighten up. Inside, the floating Conda™ lacing provides the superior ankle hold and heat-moldable customization that advanced riders swear by, allowing you to slip them on and off in the parking lot with zero hassle. While the Maysis is a powerhouse of performance and comfort, it’s worth noting that its high-volume design is best suited for standard foot shapes; if you have a particularly narrow calf or a sensitive instep, you might find the fit a bit aggressive. However, for the vast majority of riders, the combination of a secure, "locked-in" feel and the vibration-damping ride makes it clear why this boot remains the industry standard. If you’re looking for a durable, performance-driven boot that balances ease of use with professional-grade response, it’s time to step into the Maysis and see what the hype is about.

Skill Level
Intermediate plus boots are ideal for the rider who needs more control and support whether you are an all-mountain cruiser or the hard charger who likes a little flex and feel from out of their boot.
Flex Rating
Medium/stiff flexing boots are great for the increased speeds of blue runs and exploring off trail. They will have little limits as you push max speeds or the steepest of terrain, but will get the job done for the average all-mountain rider who is still exploring all the mountain has to offer.
H5/M+2 Zonal BOA® Fit System
Experience precision and peace of mind with the H5/M+2 Zonal BOA® Fit System. This dual-dial setup gives you independent control over the upper and lower halves of your boot, allowing you to customize your lockdown for the perfect balance of flexibility and support. Built to be as tough as the terrain you ride, the H5 BOA® Dial is impact-resistant and features a unique safety design: it is engineered to eject during a severe crash rather than breaking, allowing you to simply click it back in and keep riding. It’s high-performance security that won't let a heavy tumble end your day. To tighten, H5 dials rotate forward on side-mounted locations and inward on tongue-mounted locations. To loosen, turn in reverse direction.
Conda™ w/ BOA® Liner Lacing
A patented K2 liner lacing system that uses a urethane harness to gently hug your ankle, creating unrivaled heel hold. BOA® Conda™ allows for adjusting liner tightness and heel hold on the fly from outside of the boot, even with gloves on.
BOA® TX3 Lace
BOA®’s first textile lace in the snowboarding category, TX3 is constructed from recycled PET with a structural core. The TX3 BOA® Lace is a flexible, low-friction textile lace that offers a more traditional flex pattern, but the superior closure of a BOA® system.
Intuition® Control Foam 3D Liner
Built with a blend of high and medium density Intuition® foam, which allows this liner to be heat molded to your foot. With internal and external J-Bars for added support and improved heel hold.
Rubber Reinforced Articulating Cuff Upper with Endo™ 3.0
The Rubber Reinforced Articulating Cuff paired with the NEW Endo™ 3.0 technology ensures your boots feel brand new, season after season. By reinforcing high-wear zones with durable rubber, this design prevents the boot from breaking down or deforming, even under heavy use. Meanwhile, the Endo™ 3.0 construction provides a consistent, "distortion-free" flex that won't soften over time. The result is a boot that maintains its original snap, response, and shape for its entire lifespan, giving you a predictable and powerful ride every time you strap in.
Harshmellow™ Footbed
K2 incorporates their proprietary Harshmellow™ damping into the layup of all the footbeds in their boots. The result is superior vibration absorbing and comfort for all day riding around the resort.
This Grips! Premium Rubber Outsole
A K2 exclusive built to offer the best possible performance at the lowest possible weight. An EVA midsole with Harshmellow™ pods makes this quiet underfoot, and a dual rubber compound provides unmatched grip for the parking lot and the boot pack.
Harshmellow™
A magical dampening system that replaces industry standard foam dampening materials. Harshmellow™ is strategically placed to dampen vibration underfoot to provide for a more “quiet” feel underfoot, reduce vibration from impact, and reduce fatigue while snowboarding.
S’Cafe™ Coffee Mesh
With functionality and sustainability in mind, K2 coffee mesh is made from recycled post-consumer coffee grounds that is combined with post consumer recycled polyester. This mesh enhances odor control and moisture management of their standard lining mesh and is made from 95% recycled material with no added chemicals.
Fitting Your Boots
– To properly assess the fit of any boot you must lace or buckle it completely. The boot will feel small until you do this because your toes will be pushed to the front until laced or buckled. Also, keep in mind all boot liners stretch out and get bigger.
– First, lace or buckle the boot loosely. Next, flex into the boot to drive your heel into the heel pocket. Doing this makes room for your toes. Lastly, finish lacing or buckling the boot in a flexed position.
– Be sure to wear the boots for at least 10 minutes fully laced or buckled before making a determination. Remember these boots are not made for walking, keep your knees slightly bent and flexed forward into riding position. When doing this your heels should be pushed into the back of the boot and your toes should be comfortable.
– You should wear the thinnest sock you are comfortable with. Blood flow is the number one thing that keeps your feet warm. Adding more material around your feet with thicker socks increases the chances of reducing blood flow.
– To help your foot sit properly in your boot, you may consider an aftermarket footbed like Superfeet® or Sidas®. A footbed with arch support, not just cushion, helps align your foot in the shell and alleviates pressure points. Footbeds should be sized to your arch height and length, not your shoe size.
– Spend some time choosing your boots, they are the most important piece of your gear!
