Salomon Kiana Dual Boa Snowboard Boots - Women's by Salomon
Product Info
The Salomon Kiana is a progressive, mid-flexing freestyle and all-mountain boot engineered for dedicated riders who demand a precise balance of supportive flex and modern convenience. At its core is Salomon's Fit To Ride construction, a design philosophy that shaves off weight and footprint size while ensuring an instant, comfortable fit right out of the box. The boot features a specialized progressive flex that allows you to effortlessly press rails in the park and tweak grabs, yet remains stiff enough to provide high-speed stability when charging down technical lines. To keep you securely locked in, the Dialogue features a dual-zone lacing setup that allows you to independently tune the tightness of the upper and lower halves of the shell, giving you total control over your stiffness and heel hold. Inside, the heat-moldable Full Custom Fit liner uses multi-density foams to contour perfectly to your foot anatomy, eliminating pressure points and keeping circulation flowing so your toes stay warm. Underfoot, the boot utilizes a low-profile outsole paired with an impact-absorbing midsole, which acts as a heavy-duty suspension system to cushion flat landings and dampen high-speed chatter. Durable, highly responsive, and remarkably comfortable, the Salomon Kiana is the ultimate choice for the rider looking to push their freestyle progression across the entire resort.

Flex Rating
Medium-stiff flex is perfect for riders that want comfort and performance out of their boots, regardless of terrain or riding style, but still need them to perform for advanced riding.
H4/M2 Dual Zone BOA® Coiler Fit System
Two separate dials and lace paths work with the boot’s cuff to isolate fit into two distinct zones. The upper zone dials in flex and stability, the lower zone locks the forefoot. Focus BOA® delivers a dual zone BOA® Fit System that allows the rider to adjust articulation on both lower and upper zones of the boot.
Response Full Custom Fit Liner
The Response Full Custom Fit Liner is Salomon’s top-tier, heat-moldable liner designed for maximum performance and a personalized fit. Constructed entirely from multi-density, heat-moldable Ultralon foam, this liner can be custom-contoured to the exact shape of your foot, ankle, and shin. It features an anatomical design with strategic internal overlays that secure your foot for immediate energy transfer, while the seamless construction eliminates hot spots and pressure points—ensuring elite-level response and warm, all-day comfort on the mountain.
Precision Harness™ 3.0
Paired with Dual Boa© lacing for ultimate support and a fully-enveloped fit, an adjustable internal heel strap that locks down your liner for maximum support.
Ortholite C2 Footbed
The OrthoLite® C2 footbed is a premium, dual-density insole designed to provide immediate step-in comfort and long-lasting support. Engineered with open-cell foam technology, it creates a cooler, drier, and healthier environment for your foot by actively pulling moisture away. Unlike standard insoles that pack out over time, the OrthoLite® material retains its cushioning and structural integrity season after season, absorbing micro-vibrations and reducing foot fatigue so you can stay on the mountain longer.
Heel Grip
An inner zone on your liner dedicated to keeping your feet and socks firmly in place, all day. Feather OutSole w/Contagrip® Rubber - EVA and rubber compound lightweight outsole that delivers cushy comfort and smooth landings.
DAMPLite+ OutSole w/Contagrip® Rubber
The DAMPLite+ with Contagrip® outsole is Salomon’s premium foundation designed to maximize winter traction while minimizing weight. By fusing a lightweight, shock-absorbing DAMPLite+ EVA foam core with strategically placed Contagrip® rubber lugs, this outsole delivers the best of both worlds. The proprietary Contagrip® compound ensures maximum multi-directional grip on icy ridges, slick ladders, and frozen parking lots, while the high-performance EVA midsole eats up high-speed chatter and heavy flat landings—reducing foot fatigue so you can ride longer.
Fit To Ride Construction
FTR construction is 10% lighter and 10% more compact without sacrificing comfort or durability. With 1:1 lasting every half size change in liner gets a half size change in shell.
Fitting Your Boots
Do not buy your boots based on your shoe size.
– To properly assess the fit of any boot you must lace or buckle it completely. The boot will feel small until you do this because your toes will be pushed to the front until laced or buckled. Also, keep in mind all boot liners stretch out and get bigger.
– First, lace or buckle the boot loosely. Next, flex into the boot to drive your heel into the heel pocket. Doing this makes room for your toes. Lastly, finish lacing or buckling the boot in a flexed position.
– Be sure to wear the boots for at least 10 minutes fully laced or buckled before making a determination. Remember these boots are not made for walking, keep your knees slightly bent and flexed forward into riding position. When doing this your heels should be pushed into the back of the boot and your toes should be comfortable.
– You should wear the thinnest sock you are comfortable with. Blood flow is the number one thing that keeps your feet warm. Adding more material around your feet with thicker socks increases the chances of reducing blood flow.
– To help your foot sit properly in your boot, you may consider an aftermarket footbed like Superfeet® or Sidas®. A footbed with arch support, not just cushion, helps align your foot in the shell and alleviates pressure points. Footbeds should be sized to your arch height and length, not your shoe size.
– Spend some time choosing your boots, they are the most important piece of your gear!
