Helly Hansen Jr. Summit 2.0 Bib Pant - Youthby Helly Hansen

Product Info

The Jr. Summit 2.0 Bib Pant is built for kids who are ready to spend the whole day on the mountain. HELLY TECH® PERFORMANCE and seam-sealed construction keep snow and moisture out, while 80g insulation adds plenty of warmth for chilly lift rides and cold-weather laps. The extendable leg system means they can get more than one season out of them, and the reinforced lower legs and insteps are ready for the usual kid-level wear and tear.

We recommend this for:

Kids who spend full days on the mountain. They’re especially good for those who need reliable warmth and weather protection, while the extendable length and adjustable suspenders make them a smart pick for growing kids. The reinforced high-wear areas are a bonus for kids who are tough on their gear.

Warmth Rating

With 80g insulation, the Jr. Summit 2.0 Bib Pant offers solid warmth for typical winter ski days without feeling overly bulky. Great for active kids, with room underneath for a base layer or lightweight midlayer when temperatures really drop.

Waterproof Rating

HELLY TECH® Performance offers dependable waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection. While Helly Hansen does not publish a specific water column rating for this garment, performance is approximately in the 14K–18K range, making it well suited for resort skiing and variable winter conditions.

Helly Tech® Performance

HELLY TECH® Performance is Helly Hansen’s versatile waterproof, windproof, and breathable technology designed for active outdoor use in changing conditions. Built for high-output activities like skiing and snowboarding, it provides reliable protection from snow, wind, and moisture while allowing excess heat and sweat vapor to escape. It offers a strong balance of weather protection, breathability, and durability for all-day performance on the mountain.

Best for: Resort skiing, snowboarding, touring, and active winter adventures where you need dependable protection without sacrificing mobility or comfort.

RECCO®

RECCO® is a rescue technology designed to help professional rescue teams locate people in the backcountry or mountains. A lightweight, passive reflector integrated into gear responds to signals from a RECCO® detector used by trained rescuers, helping narrow down a person's location during avalanche searches or emergency situations.

Best for: Skiers, snowboarders, and outdoor adventurers who want an added layer of safety when exploring the mountains. RECCO® does not replace avalanche gear, training, or safe decision-making, but it can improve the chances of being located by rescue professionals in an emergency.
