Helly Hansen Lifaloft Insulator Skirt - Women'sby Helly Hansen

Product Info

The Women’s LIFALOFT™ Insulator Skirt brings lightweight warmth to cold-weather adventures without slowing you down. Built for ski touring, mountaineering, hiking, and winter layering, it uses innovative LIFALOFT™ insulation to deliver impressive warmth with minimal bulk—and keeps insulating even when conditions turn wet.

We recommend this for:

Skiers, mountaineers, winter hikers, and anyone who spends long stretches outside in cold conditions. It’s especially useful for active adventurers who want extra warmth without the bulk of a full insulated pant—throw it on over your ski pants during transitions, at rest stops, or whenever the wind picks up. The full-length side zips also make it a great choice for anyone who needs to layer up without taking off skis, boots, or crampons.

Technical Features

Warmth Rating

The LIFALOFT™ insulation provides substantial warmth for its low weight and bulk. It’s not a replacement for fully insulated pants in extreme cold, but it’s an excellent over-layer for adding warmth during cold transitions, rest stops, lift rides, and exposed sections of a tour or hike. The synthetic insulation also continues to provide warmth if it gets damp.

LIFALOFT™

LIFALOFT™ is Helly Hansen’s lightweight synthetic insulation technology, developed by combining its LIFA® fiber expertise with PrimaLoft® insulation. The result is a high-loft insulation that traps more warm air without adding much weight or bulk, giving you a warmer feel while keeping the jacket light and comfortable. It’s particularly well suited to active use, where you want insulation that moves easily with you rather than weighing you down.
