Playful flex and the instant connection of Step On®.

Product Info

The Burton Highshot Plus Step On® snowboard boot features an innovative, completely new design engineered for riders who demand a responsive, powerful ride without sacrificing playful flex and comfort. Aligned with the performance legacy of the classic Ruler Step On®, this boot boasts a supportive, medium-stiff flex that delivers total control for ripping across the entire mountain. At its core is the Step On® system, providing an instant boot-to-binding connection that gets you from the lift to the snow effortlessly. Paired with a Dual-Zone BOA® Fit System, riders can independently micro-adjust the tension of the upper and lower zones of the boot to dial in a truly customized fit and secure heel hold on the fly.Comfort is prioritized right out of the gate with the Imprint 3 liner that requires zero break-in time, utilizing heat-moldable tech to eliminate hotspots for a perfect feel straight out of the box. Underfoot, the boot features a high-traction Burton rubber outsole composed of 20% recycled materials, giving you durable, eco-friendly grip whether you are hiking a ridge or navigating a slick resort parking lot. Combining precise, dual-zone micro-adjustability with the unmatched convenience of the Step On® interface, the Highshot Plus is a true step-on-and-go program built to elevate your all-mountain progression.

Buying the right boots online isn’t easy. At Berg’s we always recommend that you get sized properly by a boot fitter to get the best results. Finding the proper fit is vital to performance and comfort and all models have a different fit and shape. Do not buy your boots based on your shoe size. Skill Level

Niether stiff or soft, this boot is ideal for the casual intermediate rider or the beginner plus rider looking to progress.

Flex

This boot is softer for smaller sizes and stiffer for bigger sizes, hence the 4-7 flex rating. Medium-stiff flexing boots allow for more precise control, which provides a more precise feel for a more technical/aggressive rider style. A 1:1 firm flexing tongue creates a snug fit between boot and tongue, eliminating the need to readjust while you ride.

Dual Zone BOA® Fit System

Dual Zone BOA® Fit System with Coiler™ technology features two distinct upper and lower lace zones that can be independently adjusted.

Imprint™ 3 Liner

Imprint 3™ heat-moldable liner provides moisture management and added wicking control with an inner lace lock and hook-and-loop closure for a snug fit. Added power panels elevate support and response.

Underfoot Sleeping Bag Reflective Foil

A low-profile and lightweight underfoot shield reflects heat back up to the feet. Great for cold conditions and improved comfort.

Step On® Outsole

The traditional ramp angle, or lifted heel, is eliminated to create a 0° drop across the footbed. Removing this angle improves boot-to-board feel and lowers your center of gravity creating a more surf/skate like feel. Burton recycled rubber outsole features 20% recycled rubber content and offers all terrain traction and durability.

Fit tip: Burton boots with the Imprint 3 liner have a narrower/lower volume heel and ankle pocket with a wider forefoot. Though overall the width is a B to C last which is narrower.

Fitting Your Boots

-Do not buy your boots based on your shoe size.

– To properly assess the fit of any boot you must lace or buckle it completely. The boot will feel small until you do this because your toes will be pushed to the front until laced or buckled. Also, keep in mind all boot liners stretch out and get bigger.

– First, lace or buckle the boot loosely. Next, flex into the boot to drive your heel into the heel pocket. Doing this makes room for your toes. Lastly, finish lacing or buckling the boot in a flexed position.

– Be sure to wear the boots for at least 10 minutes fully laced or buckled before making a determination. Remember these boots are not made for walking, keep your knees slightly bent and flexed forward into riding position. When doing this your heels should be pushed into the back of the boot and your toes should be comfortable.

– You should wear the thinnest sock you are comfortable with. Blood flow is the number one thing that keeps your feet warm. Adding more material around your feet with thicker socks increases the chances of reducing blood flow.

– To help your foot sit properly in your boot, you may consider an aftermarket footbed like Superfeet® or Sidas®. A footbed with arch support, not just cushion, helps align your foot in the shell and alleviates pressure points. Footbeds should be sized to your arch height and length, not your shoe size.

– Spend some time choosing your boots, they are the most important piece of your gear!
