A womens directional all mountain board for an accomplished snowboarder

Product Info

The Oddyssey from Nidecker is designed to handle the whole mountain. It’s directional shape makes it perform well in variable snow conditions and terrain. The Surfy-Camrock profile allows this board to float on on-top of the deep stuff and make quick and seamless edge-to-edge turns on a dime on hardpack snow and groomers. The Odyssey comes packed with integrated alloy Booster Bars near the sidewalls just underfoot and paired up with Nideckers Orbital cushioning makes this board quick and precise with instant response. Charge steep lines, crush choppy pow lines, and carve hard to your hearts content. The Oddyssey was built to roam the entire hill.

Directional Shape

Directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop and power in the tail while providing plenty of float in powder. A softer nose allows for a smoother roll into your carve, while a stiffer waist to tail provides better control through the turn and a stronger finish.

Camrock

The response of camber with the float of rocker. Camber between the feet keeping your contact points on the ground allowing for better edge hold. Compressing the camber will accentuate the rocker by lifting the contact points allowing a more catch free turn and better float in the Pow.

Flex Rating

The flex of the Oddyssey comes in at an 8/10. This is a stiff snowboard for a rider that has good edge-control and likes to rip fast and hard.

Skill Level

The Nidecker Oddyssey is ideal for an advanced rider with experience in snowboarding through more difficult terrain.

N-9000 Sintered Base

A lightning quick sintered base made from super dense material with a high carbon content to minimise friction. Wax it on the regs for race-level performance, or if you just want to beat your friends to the lift.

Light Core

An ultra lightweight core based on a lively combination of poplar and paulownia. Hardwood beech stringers down the centre enhance the overall strength and boost pop.

Triax Plus Glass

The Triax laminate is oriented at 45° to the board, and contains different glass densities. This provides consistent torsional flex, better pop, and more reactivity on every turn.

Pop Carbon

Strategic placement of carbon fiber from the tail to the rear inserts, and from the nose to the front inserts, resulting in a more reactive board, with increased pop and stiffness. The vibration dampening qualities make it ideal for more aggressive riding in all conditions.

Absorbnid Topsheet

Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows for a more responsive, dynamic board that will still give you a smooth and fatigue free ride.
