This radical directional asym carving machine comes in both regular and goofy options in a 159cm length with a 264mm waist width suitable for most sized riders looking for a unique ride on hill. Asymetric sidecut keeps you locked on rail riding heelside, and allows you to carry the same speed and engery when transitioning to your toe side edge for powerful  while the extra volume in the nose makes light work of deep or bumpy sections. Ideal for screaming backhand turns, perfect corduroy and regular trips to the white room. Comes in a limited edition board sock; surf wax not included.

Technical Features

Directional Shape

Directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop and power in the tail while providing plenty of float in powder. A softer nose allows for a smoother roll into your carve, while a stiffer waist to tail provides better control through the turn and a stronger finish.

Camrock

The response of camber with the float of rocker. Camber between the feet keeping your contact points on the ground allowing for better edge hold. Compressing the camber will accentuate the rocker by lifting the contact points allowing a more catch free turn and better float in the Pow.

Flex Rating

The flex of the Oddyssey comes in at an 8/10. This is a stiff snowboard for a rider that has good edge-control and likes to rip fast and hard.

Skill Level

The Nidecker Oddyssey is ideal for an advanced rider with experience in snowboarding through more difficult terrain. 

N-9000 Sintered Base

A lightning quick sintered base made from super dense material with a high carbon content to minimise friction. Wax it on the regs for race-level performance, or if you just want to beat your friends to the lift.

Light Core

An ultra lightweight core based on a lively combination of poplar and paulownia. Hardwood beech stringers down the centre enhance the overall strength and boost pop.

Triax Plus Glass

The Triax laminate is oriented at 45° to the board, and contains different glass densities. This provides consistent torsional flex, better pop, and more reactivity on every turn.

Pop Carbon Plus

Strategic placement of carbon fiber from the tail to the rear inserts, and from the nose to the front inserts, resulting in a more reactive board, with increased pop and stiffness. The vibration dampening qualities make it ideal for more aggressive riding in all conditions.

Absorbnid Topsheet

Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows for a more responsive, dynamic board that will still give you a smooth and fatigue free ride.
