Swiss-engineered performance meets Sorel cold-weather heritage.

Product Info

The Nidecker x Sorel snowboard boot is built for resort and pow riders who demand all-day cold-weather comfort, supreme heel hold, and a versatile, medium-soft flex for a surf style approach to riding. The Nidecker x Sorel snowboard boot merges Swiss alpine performance with Sorel’s legendary, cold-weather utility to create a rugged, high-performance boot designed for cold days and heavy riding. Built around a durable, weather-resistant outer shell with reinforced leather-inspired paneling, this boot shields your feet from deep slush, freezing wind, and heavy snow pack. Its medium-soft flex is forgiving enough for surfy powder turns and natural ankle articulation while providing enough support for cruising the groomers.Inside, the boot features a thermo-moldable, heat-retentive liner that custom-shapes to your foot to eliminate pressure points and maximize heel lock. A single BOA® wheel controls an inner lace to help keep your heel locked down. Bottom-up comfort is driven by a high-traction, multi-surface rubber outsole inspired by classic Sorel winter treads, providing unyielding grip on icy bootpacks, frozen parking lots, and slick summit ridges. Stylish, warm, and built to perform, the Nidecker x Sorel boot delivers heavy-duty alpine protection without sacrificing precise board feel.

Online Boot Purchase Disclaimer

Buying the right boots online isn’t easy. At Berg's we always recommend that you get sized properly by a boot fitter to get the best results. Finding the proper fit is vital to performance and comfort and all models have a different fit and shape. Do not buy your boots based on your shoe size. If you would like some general tips on how a boot should fit, please scroll down to the bottom of the page.

We recommend this for:

This very unique boot is ideal for the pow surf inspired rider who also likes to cruise the groomers, as well as for the old heads out there who want to take a trip down memory lane with modern comfort built in.

  • Traditioanl Lace
  • Internal Boa® H5 Heel Lock

Flex Rating

We rate the flex of the DC Control right down the middle at a 5/10 flex. The Control is perfect for a lighter to medium weight rider looking for all mountain support or a heavier rider looking for a softer freestyle flex. If you are a taller or heavier rider that needs a little more support we would suggest looking elsewhere.

Silver Liner

The Silver liner can be heat molded for a custom fit and features a Custom Flex Zone at the toes, 8mm PE foam, and added PU support. A separate cuff connected to the shell ensures easy entry, while touch fasteners on the tongue secure the fit.

Fit tip:
-Performance fit for C+
-Comfort fit for B to C width feet

Scratches, chips, and/or indentations in the boots from the bindings or other sources. Impact damage such as from rocks, stumps, rails, terrain etc. Any damage caused by, related to, or resulting from modifications made after purchase and not authorized by Nidecker. Graphic fading, discoloration, or other aesthetic blemishes that do not impair performance. Damage caused by improper mounting or adjustment of bindings. Damages incurred in shipping. FITTING YOUR BOOTS– Do not buy your boots based on your shoe size.– To properly assess the fit of any boot you must lace or buckle it completely. The boot will feel small until you do this because your toes will be pushed to the front until laced or buckled. Also, keep in mind all boot liners stretch out and get bigger. – First, lace or buckle the boot loosely. Next, flex into the boot to drive your heel into the heel pocket. Doing this makes room for your toes. Lastly, finish lacing or buckling the boot in a flexed position.– Be sure to wear the boots for at least 10 minutes fully laced or buckled before making a determination. Remember these boots are not made for walking, keep your knees slightly bent and flexed forward into riding position. When doing this your heels should be pushed into the back of the boot and your toes should be comfortable. – You should wear the thinnest sock you are comfortable with. Blood flow is the number one thing that keeps your feet warm. Adding more material around your feet with thicker socks increases the chances of reducing blood flow.– To help your foot sit properly in your boot, you may consider an aftermarket footbed like Superfeet® or Sidas®. A footbed with arch support, not just cushion, helps align your foot in the shell and alleviates pressure points. Footbeds should be sized to your arch height and length, not your shoe size. – Spend some time choosing your boots, they are the most important piece of your gear!
