Technical Features

Directional

Directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float in powder. A softer nose allows for a smoother roll into your carve, while a stiffer waist and tail provides better control through the turn and a stronger finish.

Alpine V4 Camber

The ALPINE V4 profile is simply a traditional camber profile. A full camber profiles are ideal for powerful turns and poppy precision. They offer a snappy suspension with weight distributed evenly across the entire board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail. The support and snap you get from a cambered board is unrivaled by any other bend profile.

The Matriarch is for advanced riders who know what they are doing in the most advanced/agressive terrain on the mountain. 

Flex Rating

Capita has a habit of rating their flexs a little on the soft side. They say it’s a 7/10 flex and that is what it is and some might find that it’s a stiff 7.
