Technical Features

Tapered Directional (3mm Taper)

Directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition. Slight taper loosens up turning initiation on the groomers for a smoother and easier ride without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack. This also improves floatation in deeper snow by reducing the surface area in the tail, allowing the tail to sink lower so the nose can rise above the pow for a surfier ride. This also helps to reduce back leg fatigue, so you can stay out longer on those perfect days.

Cross Profile Camber

Cross Profile features a camber dominant area throughout most of the board for stability at high speeds, in addition to a rocker area in the tip and tail for enhanced float.

Quadratic Sidecut

Quadratic sidecuts use 3 or more radii instead of a continuous radial sidecut. The radii of the sidecut is shallower at the ends and deeper in the middle, which promotes easier turn initiation.

CNC-selected high-density wood strips for the inserts and rail zones results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush.

Popster

Popster's shaped core profile is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.

Extruded EG Base w/ Medium Stone Finish

A harder compound than EXT, Salomon EXT EG takes the easy maintenance of a non-sintered base and adds Electra for increased gliding characteristics. A medium structure finish that improves base glide. Quicker in all snow conditions, from cold morning corduroy to spring slush.

All-Mountain Edge Bevel

A 1° edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut meets a 2° bevel between the feet. This delivers the most solid edge hold with no hang-ups.

Royal Cork Pads

Cork pads help reduce the use of petroleum-based products while providing a superior solution for dampening underfoot, ensuring a smooth ride all season long.
