It has a heavy-duty and comfortable D-grip for moving tons of snow and the D-grip saves your knuckle when you are in tight spots digging pits or caves. It has a telescoping shaft for extended reach. You have a choice of 3 scoops: Yellow, Blue, and Orange T6. The Yellow and Blue scoops use our durable standard tempered aluminum. The Orange T6 scoop is one of the most durable shovel scoops available. A professional's choice, it uses premium 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum. It also has deadman holes for use in a rescue sled or as an emergency anchor. All scoop coatings are guaranteed against flaking or chipping.

T-6 Blade

T6 is the level of hardness reached in the aluminum heat-treating process for the Voile T6 model avalanche shovel scoop. Avalanche professionals, guides, patrollers, and rescue teams require this level durablity in their avalanche rescue shovel.
