The Jones Stratos is a favorite among the carving fiends here at Berg’s. It is a perfect balance of directional shape with taper, camber with rocker in the nose, and progressive sidecut that make the Stratos a carving dream on the groomers and a steep terrain monster that slashes pow with the best of them. Pair all that with a fast 9900 sintered black base for race level speeds and basalt stringers that provide optimal transfer of energy while dampening chatter that just make this a capable and fun board for the carving speed demons out there. There really just isn’t much more to say about it.

This edge technology adds multiple contact points throughout the board's edge keeping your board locked into the snow during fast carves and in icy/hardpack conditions.

Dual Density wood core made of mostly paulownia with specially placed poplar stringers for better durability and turn power.

Sintered 9900 Base

This base is a combination of Ultra-High Molecular Polyethylene and Carbon making it ultra-fast and easy to repair.

Float Pack Inserts

An extra set of binding inserts are located further near the tail of the board for those extra deep days.

3D Bases Contour

This base shaping technology reduces drag, increases glide, flow, and float. This means higher speeds, improved fluidity during carves, and effortless float through powder, crud, or crusty snow. The 3.0 version offering 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and tail.
