The Skull Dura X Mips helmet is your new fully outfitted race helmet meeting FIS RH Standards so that it can be used in FIS competition. With features like POC's Race lock technology that locks the helmet down to limit vibration felt at the high speeds of racing. Easy adjustment from the Race Lock adjuster so that you can adjust your helmet even with gloves on right before race start. A fidlock buckle gives you easy on and off, even with gloves on, while staying secure. Additional safety is added with Mips (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) for added safety in rotational impacts.

Technical Features

PC/ABS Shell

PC (Polycarbonate) Stiff and strong material used in the helmet shell, well suited to thermal forming to give a secure bond with the helmet liner. ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) A very hard plastic, widely known for its impact resistance, strength and durability.

MIPS® Integra

Mips Integra is a rotational protection system that is integrated and fitted into the helmet as seamlessly as possible. Since the solution is a development collaboration between the helmet manufacturer and the Mips design team to integrate the Mips system into the helmet, the Integra is available in different forms depending on the characteristics of each helmet.

EPP Liner

(Expanded Polypropylene) Can withstand multiple impacts, depending on severity. EEP liners tend to be thicker than EPS liners.

Race Lock

Race Lock Uses a turn wheel adjuster in line with the edge of the helmet to ensure the tightest, most secure fit without effecting the race tuck
