Product Info
The GNU Gloss is a medium flexing true twin snowboard that is ideal for a more freestyle inspired style of riding, whether you are in the park or cruising the groomers. The camber dominant hybrid profile has a small rocker section between the feet allowing for more pop and snap while still being forgiving. The Co-Ex base is a combination of sintered and extruded bases. This unique extrusion process creates the affordable and easy to repair product you get with extruded bases, but also creates a porous surface of a sintered base that holds wax better and is faster. To top things off the Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax fiberglass layup provides the pop and power you need to get off the ground, but the torsional flex you want to press, butter, and rider boxes and rails. Whether you are a park rat or just looking for a fun, playful, yet forgiving all mountain board the GNU Gloss may just be what you are looking for.

True Twin
A true twin shape is exactly how it sounds. The board is mirrored from nose to tail with shape and flex. This allows for ultimate rideability in either direction. Whether you land a 180 or a 360, the board is sure to ride out the same way.
C3 Camber
GNU's C3 camber profile is a hybrid camber that's flat in the middle and flattens out at the tips and tail, with a slight dip in the center. It's considered Mervin's most aggressive camber and is designed for high-performance snowboarding. C3 camber provides stability, control, pop, extra float, and carving. It also has a mild rocker between the feet.
Skill Level
The intermediate rider looking for a twin freestyle/park board that will still work very well in all conditions.
Flex Rating
The 5/10 flex in the Gloss is friendly for the whole mountain and maneuvers with ease.
Magne-Traction® Edges
Strategically located and sized edge serrations provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions. Allowing you to lay down your edge confidently on the iciest days.
G-Lite 1 Core
FSC Certified poplar wood core with paulownia stringers running down it create an affordable lightweight board that still provides strength and pop when you need it.
Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax Glass
A combination of Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax glass allows for flex where you want it, but stability, strength, and pop when you need it.
