If you have ever seen a surf video then you know how nimble and agile their quick turns look. That is exactly how slashing a turn on the Mind Expander feels. It is hard to explain just how fun it is ride like this on natural features all over the mountain, other than pure joy. Technical Features

Directional w/ 20mm Taper

Directional tapered shapes lend themselves for a great carving feel and easy floatation in powder. The taper lends itself to not only dropping into the powder to raise the nose up, but also to rebound and slingshot you out of deep carves.

A play on directional camber, Chris Christenson Surf Camber blends a more surf inspired feel to the mostly camber-dominant profile.

3D Contour Base 3.0

Freeride focused 3D Contour Base featuring 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0 to 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point.

Bamboo Surf Core

Re-designed triple-density Bamboo Surf wood core that features primarily paulownia stringers with bamboo stringers positioned in the pocket of the sidecut for better edge response and turn power.

Biax Fiberglass

A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate that provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride.

Sintered 8000 Base

New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. Base is easily repairable, highly wax absorbent and wicked fast.
