Product Info
The new movement within traditional lace boots is a hybrid Boa® approach. The benefit is a fix to what has long been one of the biggest issues for lace boots, heel hold. You still get all the things you love with a traditional lace boot, but now you get the benefits of Boa® too without worrying about a broken Boa® ending your day, cause you still got your laces! Built upon the OG platform the Invado Pro offers a lot of upgrades. First you get a stiffer boot which provides more efficient power transfer when you start exploring more aggressive terrain and higher speeds. The Invado Pro also comes with an upgrade to the inside as well with increased heel hold with the V2 harness, extra cushion in the V2 liner and the V2 PopCush footbed. The heat moldable liner has a flexible neoprene toe box that will minimize toe pressure for all day comfort. Combined with Vans Heat Retention 360° thermal layer that wraps the toe box for all day warmth your feet are covered…literally. And all of this is built on top of the V2 Waffle sole with improved flex points and added grip. With all of this packed into the boot and a price you can't hate, the Invado Pro may be the upgrade you need while keeping all the classic Vans style you love.

Skill Level
Intermediate boots are ideal for the rider who needs more control and support whether you are an all-mountain cruiser or the rider looking to bridge the gap from beginner to advance.
Flex Rating
Medium flexing boots are great for the increased speeds of blue runs and exploring off trail. They will have some limits as you push max speeds or the steepest of terrain, but will get the job done for the average all-mountain rider who is still exploring all the mountain has to offer.
Traditional Lace w/ Hybrid Plus BOA® Fit System
This traditional laced boot comes with Vans Hybrid Plus Boa® fit system. The Hybrid system merges traditional lacing with the power of the BOA® Fit System at the instep and the adjustable flex control of the Custom Slide Guide for secure, targeted heel hold and true custom fit. The Hybrid Plus system expands the range of flex control from the original Hybrid BOA® configuration by adding an extra BOA® lace that passes around the back of the boot and across the instep to optimize the lines of pull and maximize the flex control capabilities.
V2 Ultracush Liner w/ Smartwool Liner
Ultracush provides an interior cushioning layer for all day comfort, a dual density heat moldable core for a more custom fit, a flexible neoprene toe box, with microsuede cuff and tongue. The V2 liner is made with soft, odor resistant, moisture managing Merino wool from Smartwool.
Heat Retention 360°
All Vans snowboard boots feature a newly improved thermal retention layer that provides a 360° wrap of the liner that keeps heat in and cold out, ensuring all-day warmth and comfort.
Pleasure Cuff
The supple elasticity of the PleasureCuff delivers a cushioned, comfortable fit that keeps your calves supported.
Instep Flex Zone
The Instep Flex Zone functions to maintain natural ankle flexion in your boot, whether in or out of your bindings.
V2 PopCush Footbed
A dual density construction footbed with advanced 3D molded anatomical shape provides support while reducing foot fatigue. Built with airflow perforations and a Nylex moisture wicking top sheet for when things heat up. Added TPU arch support and heel clip provides stability while allowing torsional flex.
V2 Waffle Lug Outsole
The V2 Waffle Pro is a progressively inspired and capability driven design built for both on and off snowboard performance. Uncompromising natural flex and a weight reducing, impact resisting UltraCush midsole provide incredible boardfeel, while a Vans-exclusive pattern and All-Trac rubber cold weather compound give you the confidence you need to scramble the side country with confidence.
Fitting Your Boots
– To properly assess the fit of any boot you must lace or buckle it completely. The boot will feel small until you do this because your toes will be pushed to the front until laced or buckled. Also, keep in mind all boot liners stretch out and get bigger.
– First, lace or buckle the boot loosely. Next, flex into the boot to drive your heel into the heel pocket. Doing this makes room for your toes. Lastly, finish lacing or buckling the boot in a flexed position.
– Be sure to wear the boots for at least 10 minutes fully laced or buckled before making a determination. Remember these boots are not made for walking, keep your knees slightly bent and flexed forward into riding position. When doing this your heels should be pushed into the back of the boot and your toes should be comfortable.
– You should wear the thinnest sock you are comfortable with. Blood flow is the number one thing that keeps your feet warm. Adding more material around your feet with thicker socks increases the chances of reducing blood flow.
– To help your foot sit properly in your boot, you may consider an aftermarket footbed like Superfeet® or Sidas®. A footbed with arch support, not just cushion, helps align your foot in the shell and alleviates pressure points. Footbeds should be sized to your arch height and length, not your shoe size.
– Spend some time choosing your boots, they are the most important piece of your gear!
