True twin shape and flex for park or all-mountain freestyle inspired riding

Product Info

Nidecker isn’t the most well known brand in North America, but they have been building some of the best snowboards in the world for a long time now. Based in Switzerland, Nidecker has been a leader in snowboard design and construction in Europe. So much so that brands like Jones, YES., and Slash partnered with them when striking out on their own. Nidecker puts more tech and design into the Sensor at this price than any other brand on our wall here at Berg’s. A mid-flex, a twin stance, multi-species wood core, a little carbon, and a fast based make the Sensor a real powerhouse for all-mountain freestyle inspired riding or working on next level park tricks. And you get all that at a price that others just can’t compete with.

True Twin

Both the nose and tail are mirrored from the center of the board in both shape and flex. A true twin allows you to experience the same ride in either direction. Ideal for freestyle minded riding and perfect for anyone, beginners included, to dial in riding switch for all mountain dominance.

Camrock

The response of camber with the float of rocker. Camber between the feet keeping your contact points on the ground allowing for better edge hold. Compressing the camber will accentuate the rocker by lifting the contact points allowing a more catch free turn and better float in the Pow.

Flex Rating

The flex of the Sensor comes in right down the middle. Soft enough to be accessible for a beginner plus rider, but stiff enough for an intermediate rider to go explore the mountain.

Skill Level

The Nidecker Sensor is ideal for a solid intermediate rider. The Sensor can be a great option for a beginner who is comfortable on the green runs and building their confidence on the blues.

N-7000 Base

Developed exclusively for Nidecker, the N-7000 has all the durability and low-maintenance glide of an extruded base, but is as hard as a sintered base. They call it sintruded. You'll call it fast.

Master Core

The Master Core construction is a product of Nicecker's long history of experimentation in materials and woodcraft. It's the perfect harmony of different wood densities and varieties (poplar, beech, spruce, and paulownia), resulting in a superior weight-to-performance-to power ratio, and an ultra-strong, extra-responsive, lightweight core.

Biax Plus Glass

Biax Plus features a classic 90° weave but uses more glass to enhance power transfer. It’s super responsive and ideal for riders seeking a stiffer and more agile board that's still playful.

Pop Carbon

Strategic placement of carbon fiber from the tail to the rear inserts, and from the nose to the front inserts, resulting in a more reactive board, with increased pop and stiffness. The vibration dampening qualities make it ideal for more aggressive riding in all conditions.

SideKick

SideKick lifts your edges at the widest points of the nose and tail resulting in increased float in powder, smoother riding in rough terrain and effortless turn initiation.

Absorbnid Topsheet

Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows for a more responsive, dynamic board that will still give you a smooth and fatigue free ride.
