Slash ATV Snowboard - Men's by Slash

Prodcut Info
It seems that there is an eternal search for the one board that can do everything and do it all without sacrifice. Though some snowboarders can accomplish this based on their needs, this is a bit of an impossibility. The best park board will not be the best powder board, that would be a unicorn(a mythical creature that does not exist). There are a few boards that get close, especially for those who know how to get the most out of their boards. The Slash ATV is one of those boards that comes dang close. With a directional twin outline, full camber profile, and mild 3D lift in the nose and tail, the ATV rips no matter where you point it.
Staff Review:“The Slash ATV really surprised me. As more of a freerider I tend to gravitate towards directional boards, but the ATV as become my preferred daily driver. This board is fun and capable on the groomers with a sidecut that carves with ease, but can crank turns. The board handles side hits and riding switch with ease, while not being a slouch in the powder. Unless the conditions call for a specific need, I grab the ATV every time.” -Clifford

Directional Twin Shape
Take a twin board and a directional board then split the difference. With a stance that is mildly setback from center that allows for easier float in the pow, but not so far back that you can still ride switch with ease, making this one of the most versatile options for a one board quiver. The Brainstorm is mild
Skill Level
The Slash ATV is ideal for a solid intermediate or better rider, but could be an option for a rider who is working toward intermediate and quickly progressing. It’s not an overly stiff board, but the full camber profile will best serve an experienced rider.
Flex Rating
The ATV is rated by Slash as a 5/10, but we feel this to be a bit of an understatement. The tip to tail flex is as smooth as your average 5/10, but a bit more ridged, while the tortional flex provides more stability at higher speeds and steeper terrain than your average 5/10 flex board. For these reasons we would say the ATV is closer to a 6.5/10.
Camber w/ 3D lift
Full camber profiles are ideal for powerful turns and poppy precision. They offer a snappy suspension with weight distributed evenly across the entire board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail. The support and snap you get from a cambered board is unrivaled by any other camber design. 3D lift pulls the tip (and tail) of the board away from the snow. The subtler scoop in the ATV's tip & tail provides extra float.
Forever Woodcore w/ TRI-AX fiberglass
Four different lightwood wood species - paulownia, spruce, beech and poplar, which makes the board flyweight, durable, filled with pop and highly reactive. Wrapped in Tri-Ax Fiberglass that provides superior pop, consistent torsional flex, and more overall response.
Landing Strip
Strips of Kevlar and carbon fiber placed from the inserts to the tips in the nose and tail support landings and reduce washouts. This design also helps dampen high-speed chatter, offer stability at speed and load up potent ollies.
Buried treasure
"Buried Treasure" design which is the ultimate truss of carbon, Kevlar and basalt fibers. The effect is lightness because the connecting strength of fiber allows a slim core thickness.
Impact Dampening
A vibration dampening rubber used between the steel edge and the sidewall, absorbs impacts only to a very small degree, its main purpose is to act as an adhesion layer between the edge and sidewall to prevent the possibility of delamination.
