The Salomon Sight is one of the newest additions to our wall here at Berg’s, as directional boards have been gaining popularity over the last few seasons. Twin boards are fun and always nice to have in the quiver, but not every mountain has a good park or a park at all. Since directional boards are ideal for carving and are phenomenal in powder, those who don’t have a park, or who are not trying to go pro, find directional boards a better fit for their everyday needs. The Sight is ideal for a beginner to intermediate rider looking to explore everything their local mountain has to offer, from cruising groomers to searching for pow stashes off trail. A lighter flex and hybrid profile offer a smoother flex that is easier to engage, while the BA MD Fiber Glass and Royal Cork Pads provide a snappier and damper ride. If all that doesn’t get your attention, than the ridiculously reasonable price will.

Technical Features

Directional Twin w/ 3mm Taper

Take a twin board and a directional board then split the difference. With a stance that is mildly setback from center that allows for easier float in the pow, but not so far back that you can still ride switch with ease, making this one of the most versatile options for a one board quiver. 

Cross Profile Camber

Cross Profile features a camber dominant area throughout most of the board for stability at high speeds, in addition to a rocker area in the tip and tail for enhanced float.

Quadratic Sidecut

Quadratic sidecuts use 3 or more radii instead of a continuous radial sidecut. The radii of the sidecut is shallower at the ends and deeper in the middle, which promotes easier turn initiation.

Popster's shaped core profile is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.

Medium density European-made fiberglass layers guarantee a consistent quality level, for light and lively boards.

Extruded EG Base w/ Medium Stone Finish

A harder compound than EXT, Salomon EXT EG takes the easy maintenance of a non-sintered base and adds Electra for increased gliding characteristics. A medium structure finish that improves base glide. Quicker in all snow conditions, from cold morning corduroy to spring slush.

All-Mountain Edge Bevel

A 1° edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut meets a 2° bevel between the feet. This delivers the most solid edge hold with no hang-ups.

Royal Cork Pads

Cork pads help reduce the use of petroleum-based products while providing a superior solution for dampening underfoot, ensuring a smooth ride all season long.
