The Terra Mips from Giro is a Deceptively simple, Ultra-lightweight, powerhouse of a helmet offering high performance in a classic stylish package. This is achieved in part through Giro's "passive aggressive" venting that automatically regulates airflow based on activity whether you are riding down, hiking up or standing still it'll keep you comfortable. The terra offers additional safety in certain crashes with Mips (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) for added safety for rotational impacts. In form 2 fit system for a perfectly dialed in fit.

Technical Features

MIPS Equipped

Effective protection in the event of a crash. MIPS technology means that in the event of a crash, the liner will rotate and stay with your head for more effective protection.

In-Mold Construction

In-Mold Construction fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet’s impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making In-Mold helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.

Stack Vent

Our Stack Vent was developed based on research showing the majority of the warm air that can cause fogging exhausts from the center top vent of the goggle. Aligning the Stack Vent in the helmet with the vent of your goggles helps to keep them clear and fog free.

Passive Agressive Venting System

The discrete exterior vent design and interior channeling (including the liner and padding) combine to create optimal airflow and temperature regulation. This auto-venting technology manages airflow and temperature-motion riding, hiking, or standing static.

In Form 2 Fit System

The In Form 2 System is lighter and lower profile than the original, making it even easier to dial in a custom fit in seconds—even with gloves on. The updated On-The-Fly Vertical Tuning feature accommodates different goggles and head shapes for a custom fit free of gaper gap.
