The Burton Genesis has been the top choice of many Berg's employees since its inception. Though there are many reasons why, the main two are the Hammockstrap™ and most importantly the Kickback Hammock hi-back. This is where the magic happens with the Genesis. The Kickback suspension is designed to transfer energy into the highback efficiently and comfortably while also pushing on the back of your boot to eliminate any gaps or slack in your binding fit. This allows for the most amount of engagement between you and your binding so that every movement is translated to your board with the most amount of efficiency and the least amount of effort from you. This is all helped by the Hammockstrap™ that has one of if not the most amount of surface area of any binding strap on the market, keeping your boot locked into your binding. The larger amount of surface area also allows you to get all this performance without having to crank your strap down by distributing pressure evenly over a greater area of your boot. On top of these two key features you also get the AutoCANT FullBed padding underfoot for added comfort and natural stance, as well as the superior Double Take buckles. Burton EST® bindings mount only to boards featuring The Channel™ mounting system. The Genesis comes in a Re:Flex version for all other board mounting systems.

Hammockstrap™ Ankle Strap
A durable and low-profile design, locking you in and giving you instant control of your board. This provides ultra responsiveness between you and your board while reducing hotspots and increasing blood flow for the best heat retention. Simply put, warm and happy feet! The Genesis comes with a larger surface area strap for superior hold that requires less pressure.
Supergrip Capstrap Toe Strap
This toe strap wraps over the toebox of the boot and is fully injected to reduce waste. As the name implies, it grips!
Canted hi-back w/ Kickback Hammock
Canted hi-back design follows the natural contours of your legs for maximum control and comfort. Kickback Hammock hi-back cradles your heel in complete suspension with a combination of internal spring tension and a molded hammock for increased response and reduced vibration.
Zero forward lean hi-back is completely vertical and designed for riders who prefer a more playful and relaxed feel. The MicroFLAD system uses a lever and sliding plate system to set the forward lean angle of the hi-back for those who want a more aggressive stance than zero.
Double Take buckles
Offer quicker engagement, faster tongue uptake, and fewer cranks to tighten your straps for vastly improved strength, speed, and ease-of-use.
