Burton Process Snowboard - Men's by Burton
Product Info
Why does snowboard assassin Mark McMorris love the Process? Well, there is definitely more than one reason. A few of the reasons are a true twin shape and flex for versatile all mountain and freestyle approaches to riding. The PurePop camber profile for a snappy, poppier experience that initiates easier than traditional camber without losing the edge hold. The sintered base for faster speeds and smoother glide. The Squeezebox core profiling for a smoother flex and lighter weight, and Dualzone EGD™ with Frostbite edges for improved edge hold without being too grabby. We could keep going but we think you get it. As you can see the Burton Process is packed with a lot of goodness, which is why it continues to be a fan favorite season after season.
The Channel® mounting system gives you the easiest, most adjustable setup with bindings from all major brands (not just Burton's). **This is the PurePop Camber version - Comes in a Flying-V Rockered version**
Type of terrain: All Mountain, Park, Powder

Directional Twin
Take a twin board and a directional board then split the difference. With a stance that is mildly setback from center that allows for easier float in the pow, but not so far back that you can still ride switch with ease, making this one of the most versatile options for a one board quiver.
PurePop Camber
An evolution of a traditional camber shape, Burton's PurePop Camber profile features subtle flat zones just outside your feet to amplify pop and add playfulness to the snap and response of camber. Early rise tip and tail sections spin and float with a catch-free feel.
Skill Level
We would put the skill level just one tick past the middle of the road. Though it is great for intermediates, The Process is great for both the intermediate and advanced riders.
Flex Rating
The Process is just on the stiffer side of medium for its flex.
Sintered Base
Durable and highly porous for superior wax absorption that reduces friction to keep you sliding better and longer. Wax regularly and repair professionally.
SuperFly II™ 700G Core
A FSC™ Certified wood core that is loaded with pop and alternates between hard and soft woods to reduce overall weight without limiting performance. Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight.
Dualzone EGD™
Engineered wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones perpendicular to the core for more edge-hold, response, and strength.
Squeezebox
A core profiling that progressively mills out the core between the bindings, allowing for increased flex where you want it and stability where you need it.
Frostbite Edges
Frostbite extends your edges out slightly beneath your bindings for extra edge hold on hard and icy conditions. Less grabby than other traction features from other brands, Frostbite works when you need it and doesn't trip you up when you don't. Off-Axis tweaks this technologies to match the angles of your typical park stance.
Pro-Tip
A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Triax™ Fiberglass
The glass strands are weaved together in three directions at 45°, 45°, and 0°. This allows for a softer flexing board for presses while maintaining strength, pop, and response needed for everything from mini to mega shred.
Super Sap® Epoxy
Epoxies and resins are often petroleum-based, which is why Burton partnered with Entropy Resins on Super Sap®, a resin formulated with bio-based materials that reduce its carbon footprint by 50% over conventional all-petroleum based epoxies.
Infinite Ride
A special machine that allows Burton to overbuild their boards and then break them in so that they ride the same on the 100th day as they did on the first day out of the wrapper.
