Product Info
There have always been shifts and trends in snowboarding and the last few years we have seen a return of camber as well as directional shapes...enter the Lib Tech Lib Rig. A medium/stiff flexing board that is ideal for all-mountain carving and powder slashing, the Lib Rig is best suited for the solid intermediate to advanced rider who wants a capable all-terrain board. The camber dominant C3 profile adds just a touch of rocker between the feet that not only makes it easier to flex into a turn, it increases edge hold between the feet throughout the turn for superior edge-hold. The Sintered Knife-Cut base is ideal for the snowboarder who likes speed. Keep this base well waxed and it will keep you flying at top speed. To top things off the Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax fiberglass layup provides the pop and power you need to get off the ground and boost out of turns, but the torsional flex you want to adjust your edges throughout your carve by ankle steering. Whether you digging trenches or pow slashing the Lib tech Lib Rig has got you covered. *Artist - Austen Sweetin

Team Rider Review: “An all-new all-mountain certified shred rod, or should I say shred rig! The Lib-Rig was dreamt up for the all-mountain ripper that has no boundaries. This rig wants to explore the depths of the winter as a lift rider, a boot packer, a rope ducker, or just an all-around shredder. This rig will withstand the heaviest conditions when charging and flow through the grooviest conditions when cruising. This rig might even touch some steel, but let’s leave that up to the imagination because this rig was designed to rip the undulations the mountains of mother earth have offered us. (I’m 5’3’’, 140lbs, Size 7, and I ride the 153 as my daily driver. )” - Austen
Directional
Directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float in powder. A softer nose allows for a smoother roll into your carve, while a stiffer waist and tail provides better control through the turn and a stronger finish.
C3 Camber
Built with traditional contact points, C3 is the closest you'll get to real camber with the addition of rocker. The board bows up off the ground between the contacts points, but also has a mild amount of rocker between the feet. This allows for increased edge contact between the feet throughout your turn.
Sintered Knife Cut Base
A high density sintered base like this one is ideal for the best glide over the snow. Its porous structure is optimal for wax retention while the high density is tough and smoother than other sintered bases. All this reduces friction to keep you sliding better and longer. Wax regularly and repair professionally.
Magne-Traction® Edges
Seven strategically located and sized edge serrations provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions. Allowing you to lay down your edge confidently on the iciest days.
Original Power [OP] Construction Core
A FSC certified 75% Aspen / 25% Paulownia wood core built to be light and tough with pop and power. The sidewalls are layered with internal end grain birch and the external is wrapped in UHMW polyethylene. The birch is there to improve edge hold and stability, while the UHMW polyethylene dampens vibration and protects from impacts. Uniquely Lib Tech also adds a healthy dose of UHMW polyethylene to the tip & tail for impact deflection. This makes repairs easier and significantly reduces the chance of damaging the core when the unfortunate happens.
Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax Glass
A combination of Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax glass allows for flex where you want it, but stability, strength, and pop when you need it.
