Gnu Frosting Snowboard - Women's by Gnu
Product Info
There have always been shifts and trends in snowboarding and the last few years we have seen a return of directional shapes...enter the GNU Frosting. A medium flexing board that is ideal for all-mountain carving and powder slashing, the Frosting is best suited for the beginner plus to solid intermediate rider who wants a capable all-terrain board. The rocker dominant hybrid profile has camber bumps under foot, which help to keep more of your edge in contact with the snow while turning for extra hold, as well as add extra pop when releasing your turn and for your ollies.
The Eco Sublimated Sintered base is faster and tougher than extruded bases and it holds wax longer. The G-Lite 2 core is built with Aspen and Paulownia for a lighter construction that is still damp at higher speeds. To top things off the Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax fiberglass layup provides the pop and power you need to get off the ground and boost out of turns, but the torsional flex you want to adjust your edges throughout your carve by ankle steering. Whether you are cruising the groomers or pow slashing the GNU Frosting has got you covered.

Directional Shape
Directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float in powder. A softer nose allows for a smoother roll into your carve, while a stiffer waist and tail provides better control through the turn and a stronger finish.
C2 Rocker
A hybrid camber/rocker profile with rocker between the feet and at the contact points with camber directly under foot. This allows for easier float in the powder, presses in the park and ease of entry into your turns, while providing more response and edge hold at the feet.
Skill Level
The beginner+ to intermediate riders looking for an all around board that will work well in all conditions.
Flex Rating
The 4/10 flex in the Frosting is very friendly for the whole mountain and maneuvers with ease.
Magne-Traction® Edges
Strategically located and sized edge serrations provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions. Allowing you to lay down your edge confidently on the iciest days.
G-Lite 2 Core
FSC Certified aspen wood core with paulownia stringers running down it create an affordable lightweight board that still provides strength and pop when you need it.
Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax Glass
A combination of Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax glass allows for flex where you want it, but stability, strength, and pop when you need it.
