There have always been shifts and trends in snowboarding and the last few years we have seen a return of camber as well as directional shapes… enter the Jones Frontier. A medium-plus flexing board that is ideal for all-mountain carving and powder slashing. Though the Frontier is accessible for the more confident beginner, it is best suited for the solid intermediate or the more mellow advanced rider who wants a capable all-terrain board. The smooth and consistent flex of the Biax Fiberglass combined with the directional camrock and 3D Contour Base make the Frontier predictable, dependable, and a constant favorite. Technical Features

Directional

Directional shapes lend themselves for a great carving feel and easier floatation in powder. A setback stance makes it easier to ride in deeper snow and creates a comfortable carving experience.

Directional Camber

Directional camber sets the camber zone of the profile back towards the tail, which creates a rocker zone in the nose. This helps the nose float in powder while the shifted camber zone keeps the power and snap of the board through carves and side hits.

The Frontier has a mellow flex pattern, but paired with its directional camber profile make it snappy and confident at higher speeds

3D Base Contour 1.0

Subtle yet effective 3D Contour Base featuring an even balance of 2mm spoon bevel in the nose and 2mm spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts just after the rocker point.

Classic Core

Full wood premium poplar core than offers fun pop, even flex and solid durability.

Biax Fiberglass

A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate that provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride.

Sintered 8000 Base

New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. Base is easily repairable, highly wax absorbent and wicked fast.

Flip-Flop Base

Producing two or more base color options minimizes p-tex waste. Order may be filled with either color. Color does not vary by size.

WEND Natural Wax

An extra set of binding inserts are located further near the tail of the board for those extra deep days.

Oversized Recycled Edges

All Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability.

Recycled ABS Sidewalls

ABS Plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improved the sustainability of their snowboards by using only recycled plastic.

Forever Flex
