The Cypress is one of the most versatile and techie bindings we have on the wall at this price. Now you may not care about techie, but what you should care about is how it all comes together to make a better performing binding with uncompromised comfort. We all want to feel secure and connected to our board, but we often do so by over tightening our straps. This causes hotspots and decreases blood flow which all lead to cold and sore feet. Arbor has put a lot into the Cypress to allow for optimal foothold without the need for us to abuse our feet. To break it all down, the System X Baseplate and higher highback create more efficient transfer of energy and the injected molded straps and 2 XD Footbeds keep your feet comfy and happy all day.

Flex Rating

A medium plus flex is more than enough to handle any terrain on the mountain for fast cruising, steep lines, and stomping bigger features in the park. 

Universal 2x4 Mini Disc | Channel Compatible

Mini Disc’s require less surface area and along with the System X help provide a more organic snowboard flex underfoot. Channel compatible. Not compatible with boards that have 4x4 pattern.

System X Baseplate w/ 30% Fiberglass Content

Proprietary performance enhancing design efficiently transfers and evenly distributes a riders energy into their snowboard, resulting in quicker, more efficient control. This allows Arbor to keep the fiberglass content down from other performance driven bindings so the binding to flex in a way that doesn’t disrupt your boards natural flex without it losing power like other low or non-fiberglass bindings. 

Adjustable Extruded Aluminum Heelcup

2 XD Footbeds

The Cypress features a dual-density footbed design. The top is made with a firmer material for added durability and improved board feel. On the bottom, they add impact absorbent heel & ball area pods for big landings and harder snow. The footbed has a 1.5° built-in cant for a more ergonomically aligned ride.
