The Arbor Veda is a new board for us here at Berg's this season and we are very excited to have it on our wall. Not only are directional boards like the Veda making a comeback, which makes us very happy, it is also the first women's board that has expanded into a unisex board with Arbor adding bigger sizes this season. This signature board from Marie-France Roy is built to be a freeride giant to match her riding style. Ideal for getting off the groomers, the Veda is most at home when riding steeper lines and making pow slashes, but is super fun for digging trenches on groomer days. The Veda only comes in the System Camber and comes in at a stiffer flex, so it is not for the Sunday driver or average beginner.
We recommend this board for intermediate or better riders. The Carbonized Bamboo Powerply is snappy and poppy edge to edge which is ideal for more aggressive lines as well as bigger drops and side-hits. It also offers stability at higher speeds and is more durable than the standard Bamboo Powerply. The sintered base and mixed glass add to the higher performance for steeper lines and higher speeds. The Veda comes with simple and elegant indigenous art by Carlos Mack that blends with the bamboo topsheet beautifully.

Directional w/ Mild Taper
Tail width is slightly tapered (8 mm) narrower than the nose width. This loosens up turning initiation on the groomers for a smoother and easier ride without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack. This also improves floatation in deeper snow by reducing the surface area in the tail, allowing the tail to sink lower so the nose can rise above the pow for a surfier ride. This also helps to reduce back leg fatigue, so you can stay out longer on those perfect days.
System Camber (Parabolic Camber)
Arbor use a unique shaping technique that replaces the single radius arc found in traditional camber, with a more advanced parabolic profile. The design blends five separate radii to create a parabolic arc, which gradually reduces the amount of camber toward the tip and tail. In the System Camber shapes, the design makes the leading edge less aggressive for smoother performance. The System Camber shapes are for riders who want a highly responsive ride, crisp on-edge performance, and more pop for carving and ollies. Effortless true-camber performance across all types of snow, and during turns, spins, and landings.
A tri–radial sidecut design that is not blended. Natural shaping intersections, that in the past were eliminated, have been transformed into heel and toe contact points that provide a direct and more ergonomic way to grip the snow when additional control is needed.
360° Fully Wrapped Sidewalls
Fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
Carbonized Bamboo Powerply
The wood Powerply is a natural topsheet and is what makes an Arbor snowboard ride like an Arbor snowboard. Bringing the board to life with the natural spring and liveliness of the specific woods used. The Bamboo Powerply is choosen for it’s added snap and pop as well as it’s liveliness, creating a more energetic ride without having to stiffen up the board.
A combination of a triax weave and a biax weave lay–up, providing flex where you want it with snap and stability where you need it.
1.5° Uprise Fenders
The uprise fenders on select camber models help you roll into your turn smoother and with less fight. They reduce friction at the contact point without sacrificing edge-hold, so you are less likely to catch an edge. Using the 1.5° instead of the standard 3° will give the benefit of the uprise fenders, but will feel more like a traditional camber board and keep the edge more engaged at the contact point.
