The Burton Gig board bag is as straightforward as it gets. It’s the one bag to own no matter what your needs are. It’s padded so you can keep your favorite boards safe on the drive up to the mountain or take it on the road with you even if you are flying to where the snow is just calling your name. An exterior pocket for tools or spare parts, a grab handle and a padded shoulder strap round out the features needed for any snowboarders needs.

600D Recycled Polyester
600D (denier) polyester is the most popular material for luggage and outdoor bags as it has a high abrasion resistance making the material extremely durable. The material itself is waterproof, though most bags are label water-resistant as the seams and zippers are not waterproof. It is also highly resistant to stretching, wrinkles, and has excellent resistance to atmospheric agents and temperature variations.
DWR and PU Coating
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) and PU (Polyurethane) coating repels water in snow and wintry-mix conditions and add to the overall durability and protection.
bluesign® is an independent third party organization that assesses the manufacturing process of goods from the making of materials to the product getting to into customers hands. They are looking at the environmental impact of the process as a whole, making sure that any and all aspects of the process meet the highest current standards for that particular industry. Their holistic approach assesses the entire textile value chain with a focus on sustainable chemistry.
Pro Tip: Stack boards w/o bindings under your board with bindings so you have back-ups in case you damage a board on the hill or the conditions change.
Burton's Lifetime Warranty:
The term "Lifetime" refers to the reasonable lifetime of the product. This does not mean your lifetime, but rather the lifetime of the materials and components that go into the finished product. Burton does their best to select high quality materials and components that meet their quality standards, but even the best materials have a lifespan and will eventually degrade. Burton will evaluate a product’s lifetime by its intended use and how much use it gets, and not by how old it is.
