The all new K2 Passport makes every snowboarder's heart beat faster. It is designed for powder moments and resort riding for experienced snowboarders. The Directional Camber Profile of the board, in combination with the nimble A1 Core provide the necessary lift in powder, but also offers enough stability for steep carves. By the way, the A1 Core cames with a 5 year warranty. To make sure you have grip even in the most extreme conditions, we added ICG™ 10 Carbon Glass to the setup. The carbon stringers, which stretch from nose to tail, gives the Passport snowboard extra liveliness and boost your pop. Another treatment is our speedy and durable 4000 base, sintered of course. This takes wax well and stands a lot.

Technical Features

Directional w/ 8mm Taper

Directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float in powder. A softer nose allows for a smoother roll into your carve, while a stiffer waist and tail provides better control through the turn and a stronger finish.

Directional Combination Camber

The best of both worlds. By blending both traditional Camber and Rocker profiles, Combination Camber gives you all the benefits of both; the pop and precision of camber, and the float and predictability of rocker.

Progressive Sidecut

This design allows the snowboard to behave differently during different stages of a turn, providing benefits like easier turn initiation and exit, and a smoother, longer arc in the middle of the turn.

Flex Rating

K2 rates the Passport at a 6/10 flex. This rating allows for a smooth ride while still being able to feel precise when you find yourself in more technical terrain or want to bomb the hill. The perfect flex.

Skill Level

With the Passports technology and flex, we would rate this just past the intermediate level of rider. Any solid intermediate will love this as a board to take them to new areas, but to also help them progress. Advanced and expert level riders will appreciate the boards capable nature and playful personality.

A1 Core

Lightweight, snappy, and durable, our ALL NEW! A1 Core is made from three renewable species of timber - Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia. Aspen-dominant to highlight the snap and response of this wood, we’ve combined it with Bamboo at 30 ° underfoot to increase strength, supercharge the edge-to-edge response, and increase the pressure distribution along the edge. We’ve also placed lightweight paulownia in the tip and tail help to reduce swing weight.

K2's Sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability.

ICG 10 Triax Carbon Glass™

Integrating tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers into fiberglass layups ensures a smooth power release in and out of turns while increasing pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity. K2 offers ICGTM Glass in two variations; ICGTM 10 Biax, ICGTM 10 Triax, and ICGTM 20 Triax.

Hybritech™ Construction

Sintered P-Tex Sidewalls

By using a profiled Sintered 4000 P-Tex material for the sidewalls in all of our snowboards, we are able to offer riders a host of benefits. P-Tex sidewalls are durable and impact resistant, provide a smoother, damper ride, and helps us to reduce waste in the production process.

Stone Ground Base

K2 offers a Stone Ground finish on boards leaving directly from the factory. This ensures that their snowboards arrive to customers with a flat, open p-tex base that is structured to perform well in all snow conditions, properly absorb wax, and glide faster than a belt sanded board.
