Bryan Iguchi has secured a legendary status in snowboarding’s history. For more than 20 years Bryan has driven the trends, engaged in the community, and contributed to its culture as it evolved around him. His experience is unparalleled and his knowledge of snowboarding goes deep. In his newest creation, Guch approaches snowboarding with a mindset of humility to mirror the evolution of his own riding trajectory. Unlike Bryan's other two models, the Satori does not require an all day aggressive approach, allowing for a more fun and playful approach to riding. The “fun and friendly, solid and stable” Satori is more accessible for the average non-pro rider, while still being very capable for advanced riders.
“I’m making a conscious effort to bring balance to my life and symmetry to my snowboarding and I feel like the Satori is the answer. I am growing and evolving my intentions on the mountain and this is the board that matches that... My thought is to design a short wide, pow-loving board. It’s freestyle-focused, with a deep sidecut, Grip Tech, and medium flex with a stable tail. Exaggerated Uprise Fenders and long, drawn-out ramping nose to give it additional lift in the pow and give it a more fun, friendly feel. I want to go out and ride all conditions and just have fun.” -Bryan Iguchi

System Camber (Parabolic Camber) - A highly responsive ride, crisp on-edge performance, and more pop for carving and ollies. Effortless true camber performance offering snappy suspension with weight distributed evenly across the entire board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail.
Parabolic Profiling - The System utilizes rocker or camber profiles created using the parabolic arc, which progressively reduces the amount of rocker or camber toward the tip and tail of a snowboard. This creates low, more effective profiles. On Rocker System designs, parabolic profiling ensures the outside contact points are close enough to the snow to engage when maximum performance is required like at higher speeds, fully loaded turns, and bigger landings.
Grip Tech - A tri–radial sidecut design that is not blended. Natural shaping intersections, that in the past were eliminated, have been transformed into heel and toe contact points that provide a direct and more ergonomic way to grip the snow when additional control is needed.
Bamboo Powerply - The wood Powerply is a natural topsheet and is what makes an Arbor snowboard ride like an Arbor snowboard. Bringing the board to life with the natural spring and liveliness of the specific woods used. The ash Powerply is also notable for it's ability to be hand dyed making the Arbor snowboards look like the Arbor snowboards we all love.
Mixed Glass - A combination of a triax weave and a biax weave lay–up, providing flex where you want it with snap and stability where you need it.
360° Fully Wrapped Sidewalls - Fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
