Building the perfect board is truly a difficult task, we’re still looking for it, but combing the the right design and tech gets us a little closer. Rossignol does a fantastic job of blending these aspect together and the One is one of the best examples we have ever ridden. Where the One really shines is the L.I.T.E. Frame technology, but you'll have to keep reading to learn more about that. The One starts with a directional platform for an ideal all-mountain experience whether you are carving the groomers or slashing some fresh pow. Rossignol builds from there with their camrock profile Amptek All-Mountain. By combing camber between the feet and rocker out to the contact points, the One has the forgiveness you want to maneuver in tight spots, but the grip you need to carve the groomers. The One has a medium camber pocket so Rossignol added their 5S Serrated Edges providing, you guessed it, 5 contact points for even more edge hold. This is ideal for your icier days. Combing the camber with their poplar wood core help to retain more snap and pop, while the basalt and Aramid(kevlar) help make the board damp and smooth even in rougher spots. Now for the good part, L.I.T.E. Frame technology. There have been a lot of new technologies that end up being a little lackluster, but L.I.T.E. Frame is the real deal. By wrapping the board with a urethane strip just inset of the sidewalls the L.I.T.E. Frame dampens vibration to improve edge-hold and create a smooth ride. We only wish more boards had L.I.T.E. Frame. Now add a little wax on the sintered base and you are ready to slide all day. FEATURES • Directional • Amptek All-Mountain • 7/10 Flex • Wood CBF1 Core • Basalt & Kevlar • L.I.T.E. A softer nose allows for a smoother roll into your carve, while a stiffer waist and tail provides better control through the turn and a stronger finish. AmpTek All-Mountain - Rossignol's three patented blends of rocker and camber are each tailored to a specific riding style and intensity level. Featuring softer extremities and a stiffer waist, AMPTEK ALL-MOUNTAIN has a 50/50 rocker/camber blend for well-balanced edge grip, stability, forgiveness, and float. Wood CBF1 Core w/ Basalt and Aramid(Kevlar) - A single type of wood that's mixed with Basalt and Kevlar fibers in its center for added comfort and punch between the feet with smooth edge-to-edge. Basalt is stronger and lighter than fiberglass and with more elasticity than carbon, basalt fibers enhance power and stability while removing vibrations. L.I.T.E. Frame - Visible breakthrough innovation, L.I.T.E. FRAME core technology integrates a urethane strip around the entire perimeter of the board, delivering full-length shock absorption for enhanced maneuverability, playfulness and ultra-smooth ride control. TPU - Combining high tensile strength and very good low-temperature flexibility, TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) absorbs vibrations and allows greater response under pressure. 5S Serrated Edges - Snowboarding's premium edge hold technology maximizes edge grip between your feet for increased control and stability in icy/hardpack conditions.
