A simple straightforward lace boot with classic Vans styling.

Product Info

The Invado OG is a simple straightforward boot with classic Vans styling. But just because it's a beginner boot doesn't mean it can't have a little steezee. The new movement within traditional lace boots is a hybrid Boa® approach. The benefit is a fix to what has long been one of the biggest issues for lace boots, heel hold. You still get all the things you love with a traditional lace boot, but now you get the benefits of Boa® too without worrying about a broken Boa® ending your day, cause you still got your laces! The Vans Invado OG is built to be a softer boot best for beginners, but it can also be a great option for someone looking for a flexible park boot. This makes it easier to press and tweak without fighting the boot. The heat moldable liner has a flexible neoprene toe box that will minimize toe pressure for all day comfort. Combined with Vans Heat Retention 360° thermal layer that wraps the toe box for all day warmth this entry level boot comes packed with more than most at this price.

Flex Rating

Beginner plus boots are ideal for your first pair of boots out of rentals, whether you are still on the bunny hill or working on your first blue runs. They are forgiving enough, but offer superior comfort compared to a rental boot.

Medium-soft boots offer more support and stability as you progress, allowing you more control as your confidence and ability grow. They tend to be more comfortable as well as they offer basic heat-molding and custom fitting capabilities.

Traditional Lace w/ Hybrid Plus BOA® Fit System

This traditional laced boot comes with Vans Hybrid Plus Boa® fit system. The Hybrid system merges traditional lacing with the power of the BOA® Fit System at the instep and the adjustable flex control of the Custom Slide Guide for secure, targeted heel hold and true custom fit. The Hybrid Plus system expands the range of flex control from the original Hybrid BOA® configuration by adding an extra BOA® lace that passes around the back of the boot and across the instep to optimize the lines of pull and maximize the flex control capabilities.

V1 Ultracush Liner

Ultracush provides an interior cushioning layer for all day comfort, a dual density heat moldable core for a more custom fit, a flexible neoprene toe box, and a brushed fleece cuff.

Heat Retention 360°

All Vans snowboard boots feature a newly improved thermal retention layer that provides a 360° wrap of the liner that keeps heat in and cold out, ensuring all-day warmth and comfort.

Pleasure Cuff

The supple elasticity of the PleasureCuff delivers a cushioned, comfortable fit that keeps your calves supported.

Instep Flex Zone

The Instep Flex Zone functions to maintain natural ankle flexion in your boot, whether in or out of your bindings.

V1 PopCush footbed

A single density construction footbed with advanced 3D molded anatomical shape provides support while reducing foot fatigue. Built with airflow perforations and a Nylex moisture wicking top sheet for when things heat up.

V1 Waffle Lug outsole

Paying tribute to the timeless vulcanized look that put Vans on the map, this aggressive reverse waffle lug pattern is ideal for all-mountain and street performance. Expect high levels of boardfeel and traction.

Fitting Your Boots

– To properly assess the fit of any boot you must lace or buckle it completely. The boot will feel small until you do this because your toes will be pushed to the front until laced or buckled. Also, keep in mind all boot liners stretch out and get bigger.

– First, lace or buckle the boot loosely. Next, flex into the boot to drive your heel into the heel pocket. Doing this makes room for your toes. Lastly, finish lacing or buckling the boot in a flexed position.

– Be sure to wear the boots for at least 10 minutes fully laced or buckled before making a determination. Remember these boots are not made for walking, keep your knees slightly bent and flexed forward into riding position. When doing this your heels should be pushed into the back of the boot and your toes should be comfortable.

– You should wear the thinnest sock you are comfortable with. Blood flow is the number one thing that keeps your feet warm. Adding more material around your feet with thicker socks increases the chances of reducing blood flow.

– To help your foot sit properly in your boot, you may consider an aftermarket footbed like Superfeet® or Sidas®. A footbed with arch support, not just cushion, helps align your foot in the shell and alleviates pressure points. Footbeds should be sized to your arch height and length, not your shoe size.

– Spend some time choosing your boots, they are the most important piece of your gear!
