Fischer s BCX Variolite ski pole is the in-between backcountry skiers have been looking for. Lightweight and durable, but versatile enough to be used for cross country, backcountry or anything else out there. With the flick of the Power Lock switch, you can have a true touring pole and then just as easily a downhill length with no troubles. The rubberized 2K handle is soft enough for long approaches with bare hands and with a true BC sized Vario basket for cross country ease and float. All with a very durable 7075 Aluminum shaft for daily use and abuse. The BCX Variolite ski poles are just a great value!
