Atomic is all-in with the new Backland Tour Ski bindings. This isn t just a lightweight pin binding, It s heart is born out of Alpine control and ease to use, along with being ultra light. The leash version weights just 592g a pair, with a brake version at 650g a pair. And like all Backland gear it s incredibly durable and easy to use: it features a patented step-in aid at the front so your boot is automatically positioned to get the pin in. Then two climbing aids work separately from the heel tower, so with one easy click you can choose between 0°, 7° and 13° positions. Performance-wise Backland Tour is exceptional, with a broad 40mm mounting for max power transmission on wide skis (this also cuts the risk of the screws pulling out). The binding comes with a 30mm sole-length adjustment – longer than most pin bindings – and is compatible with standard crampons.
